If you want a quiet place, where you can discover how the authentic Veronese live, away from the tourist frenzy of the ancient city, work in Casa Babbuino would be the right place for you. We are looking for responsible people who can understand and convey our hospitality philosophy. With an informal but professional spirit.
We are Beatrice and Marco, we are married and we are food bloggers. Casa Babbuino is the space we have decided to open to host tourists and small events related to food and wine. Casa Babbuino is a special place that combines the free and sharing spirit of a hostel with the facilities of a medium / high-end hotel. We love situations of sharing and discovering different cultures and, of course, food from all over the world. Volunteers with us are treated as if they are part of our family. They must have a passion for cooking, because for sure we will ask them to make us something good from their country!

My experience with Bea&Marco was truly incredible! :) It was my first travel with Worldpackers. Casa Babbuino is a magic place 10 min walk to the city center, I had a lot of time for walking, visiting museums, Castel, etc. It was a good balance for me, I had the time for myself. We worked at an amazing Wine festival, did a wonderful Hungarian night - we cooked my home food for 12 guests. I could practice my beginner Italian, my host was very nice and welcoming.
The work was easy after 4-5 days, Bea taught me everything and she was very patient.
Verona is really the city of love!

I was very well received at Casa Babbuino. The place is beautiful! Beatrice explained to me about the activities I should do and she was always available if I needed her. The activities are easy, but it requires attention when registering guest documents. I was able to improve my English, practice Italian and enjoy free time to get to know the city, the culture and the cuisine. I thank Beatrice and Marco for the opportunity, they were amazing.

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and it could not have been better. Both Bea and Marco are amazing hosts and people, making you feel welcomed and at home from day 1. The tasks are simple and quick to lear, they have documented the different steps you need to take so super easy to follow. I really enjoyed my stay with them!! Their place is amazing, the neighborhood is very colorful and lively full with little shops and here and there and very close to the historic part of Verona. I am so grateful that I could spend time at Casa Babbuino and I wish I could have stayed even longer.

La experiencia en Casa Babbuino fue realmente muy linda! Bea y Marco son dos anfitriones muy comprometidos en hacer que te sientas en casa, hicimos comidas italianas y chilenas, lo que fue muy entretenido!!
Con respecto al trabajo, los horarios y días de trabajo son flexibles y siempre se respetan. Por otro lado la comunicación es excelente; Bea y Marco siempre están dispuestos a ayudar en lo que sea que necesites!
De todas maneras recomiendo a los demás worlpackers que vengan a Verona a disfrutar de este hermoso lugar!
