Our place is owned by the local Taiwanese, who are passionate about Hualien and will welcome you with an open heart, leaving you feeling right at home. Our hostel provides safe and comfortable dorm rooms, with a multi-functional public lobby, equipped with basic kitchen amenities and a refrigerator, providing a chance to cook your own meals and enjoy your food, in the same place.

JoJo is the owner of Comfy Hostel and is an avid lover of outdoors. She was born in Taipei but, after backpacking through it, fell in love with the East coast of Taiwan and decided to move to Hualien to make Hualien’s outdoor activities better known to the world. She is passionate about Hualien and will welcome you with an open heart, leaving you feeling right at home. We have traveled to some countries with many backpacking experiences and are committed to meet all your expectations, and even exceed the backpacker standard.
