Un bénévole pourra prendre de l'expérience avec le travail et les soins des chevaux , améliorer sa connaissance du français, découvrir une belle région française. Bon niveau d'équitation exigé, pour des raisons de sécurité.

Nous participons ensemble à toutes les tâches mais ne prenons que quelques repas ensemble chaque semaine. Mais le petit chalet d'hébergement est tout équipé (chambre, WC, douche et coin cuisine)

Ecurie Desjeux is an experience. If you want to be fully exposed around horses and cats then this is the place for you. Riding some lovely young horses in a bonus.
A little time to bike to surrounding towns including a medieval town which was very cool. Unfortunately, I only had 2 days off out of just under 4 weeks being there to do so.
On multiple occasions I was spoken to quite disrespectfully and the communication overall wasn’t the best.
I appreciate the stay and lovely to meet some new people but a few improvements are needed for future volunteers.

Karis a eu 1 jour complet de congé par semaine plus tous les dimanches après-midi !!
Et je crois pas que nous lui ayons jamais manqué de respect, comme à tous les volontaires qui ont déjà travaillé avec nous...

I had a wonderful time with Benoit and Sylvie and I had such a full filling, productive experience while staying with them. They were very welcoming and pleasant my entire stay and I felt very comfortable and at home despite traveling so far. The work was, as expected, hard and challenging and there was a lot to do, but it was very fun and I learned a lot during my stay. Overall a lovely experience and I am very glad I stayed with them this summer as I could not think of a better way to spend my summer vacation. Truly, thank you for your hospitality and all the best in the future : )

I stayed for five weeks and loved my time here! I learnt a lot about horses in both riding and management. I was able to improve on my equestrian skills and French skills. The work was as expected for a show jumping yard but I felt as though I learnt a lot and enjoyed my time!

I had a great time with Benoît and Sylvie! Be prepared to work hard and fast but also to have the opportunity to experience and learn a lot while working and going to the shows. It was a fantastic way to immerse with local culture, listen and absorb all the knowledge Benoît and Sylvie were happy to share and help a local Écurie to make the most out of its potential:))

Benoit and Sylvie are just amazing. the place is beautiful and you really are in the capital of horses! they manage a very well organize écurie with many talented young horses. the experience I lived in Pompadour was very intense and i learned a lot about horses. Benoit is the best teacher you can find for jumping art. beautiful spot and family I loved
