Esmeralda

Lovely, peaceful, garden setting in a small hamlet in the hills of the Haute-Languedoc, about 2 miles from a large(-ish) town. There is a large farm at the bottom of my property and preserved forest land above. The house is a traditional, older place, renovated in the '70's by previous owners; the gardens were beautifully landscaped at one time but abandoned for many years. I am working to restore and improve them.

I am a retired American-born woman with a background in healthcare, alternative health, nutrition, decorative arts and cooking. Mostly vegan, I love dancing and laughing, and practice yoga and meditation.

During the first days everything seemed to be fine. The place is nice and I liked to work there. Then communication with Esmeralda became complicated and in the end I was very disappointed by the way she behaved. I was lucky to find another place to stay in town, otherwise I would have been in trouble.

Abi was very accommodating. Her place is off the beaten path which was great because I was still able to connect with the local culture. Her internet service was superb so that I could maintain contact with my work and family. I would highly recommend Abi!

El trabajo en su gran jardín ha sido siempre un placer, compartiendo esos ratos disfrutando de la agradable y su permanente simpatía y positividad. El lugar es magnífico, en plena naturaleza, magnífico para disfrutar de ella.
