Flashpackers Herveybay

We run a small hostel on Fraser coast. Good place for whale watching, and plenty of tours (to Fraser or to coral reefs). Hostel has free event activities: Movie night, Ice cream, Wine 'n' Cheese, Karaoke, Sausage sizzle, all you can eat Pizza (apply small fee), Pub crawl (may apply small fee).

Workers will stay in separate house, it has double rooms, and dorms for workers.
We have also free to use: Volley ball court, Swimming pool, Grill/BBQ, Cinema room, Laundry, Pool table, Darts, Board games, Puzzles, Books... shuffle run to the store, WiFi, Pick up service...

Hostel is 5 min walk from the beach.

We all work like a big family. All will be treated equally. If worker does more hours than required for accommodation, she/ he will get paid. Volunteer will be provided free linen, towels and other free stuff named above.

It was very nice the experience. The work was easy and the team was good. I spent a very good time there. Flashpackers is a good place to stay and Hervey Bay is very beautiful.

Just i was missing a bit of guidance about how was working everything, but the old backpackers of the team were helpful.

The staff was kind always.

Thanks for take me for 3 weeks, it was a nice introduction in australian lifestyle. Thankss.

Para mim foi uma experiência incrivel para meu primeiro trabalho voluntário, o hostel é super limpo e organizado, os funcionários foram muito legais e paciente comigo, pois meu inglês é intermediario, o serviço foi bem tranquilo de fazer, a cidade é linda e bem segura, me senti em casa, gostaria de ter ficado mais tempo, porem tive que voltar ao trabalho no Brasil, pois estava de férias, resumindo super recomendo o hostel, voltaria no verão se pudesse, a todos deixo o meu abraço.

a good experience, and the place is very good. Unfortunately for a long stay it was not fun as there was not much to do. The management in my time left to be desired, we were robbed while we were there and they did not even help show the cameras from the hostel to the police. Anyway, good stay for a short time.

Muito bom o hostel, bastante equipado, principalmente a cozinha... pois ótimos espaços para descansar, com piscina, deck, e até uma quadra de vôlei de praia para quem curte! Tem uma alta rotatividade de hóspedes, então é possível conhecer muita gente!
