La Leona Waterfall is a breathtaking natural wonder located in a remote and stunning region of Costa Rica. As a volunteer at La Leona, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of passionate individuals dedicated to providing the best memories to our clients while also experiencing the beauty and magic of the waterfall and its surrounding landscape. Whether you are interested in adventure, or simply immersing yourself in a new culture, volunteering at La Leona is sure to be an unforgettable experience that will leave you with a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

I truly believe we have by far the best staff ever. Everyone will treat you like family and become your friend! We like to make everyone feel welcomed and part of our staff.

This experience was the best 2 months of my life and I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience! The host and all of the tour guides were extremely welcoming and you will create friends that will last a lifetime. The schedule allows you to spends days traveling around and exploring various beautiful parts of Costa Rica. I always felt safe, comfortable and like a part of the team. There was always open communication and everyone there want to help ensure you have a great experience. The hardest part of the experience will be saying goodbye and I will for sure be coming back to visit.

This was my first solo trip and I couldn’t be happier with how everything went. Fabricio was an incredible host. Always made sure I felt safe and comfortable, made sure I had food on my plate. While staying with them I learned how he built his business from the ground up and really put his all into his company, and it shows. While getting to know them I learned how dedicated, caring, and honest they are about not only their work but with their lives. I learned so much staying here and I can’t wait to come back and say hello to all the friends I made. Truly was the experience of a lifetime:)

Had an amazing time with Fabricio and his tour company! Fabricio is very welcoming and friendly, and his family made me feel right at home right away. The tour guides are also very fun to be around! Creating content was a blast, and it was great that I got to go to different waterfalls and attractions in the area. There was also lots of time and opportunity to explore other parts of Costa Rica during my time there. I miss being there and hanging out with everyone!

This was my first ever solo trip and I am so glad I chose this experience. Fabricio went above and beyond to make sure that I was always safe and comfortable. The work is very rewarding if you are the type of person that loves being in nature. This is a great opportunity to practice your Spanish and to experience Costa Rica like a local. I hope to come visit again soon:)

I had the incredible opportunity to stay at Fabricios house while volunteering at La Leona Waterfall, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The hospitality and warmth extended by my host and his family made my two-week stay unforgettable. The accommodation was comfortable and welcoming, and the location was perfect for exploring the beauty of Costa Rica. Hikes and activities almost everyday while recording. I can't thank my host enough for their generosity and kindness. If you’re considering this volunteer trip I absolutely recommend it . Very memorable . Muchas Gracias❤️
