Stork Marrakech luxury hostel
Volunteering in our hostel is a great experience to learn new skills and get immersed in the hospitality industry.
The Volunteer will have fun while helping on daily tasks related to the travel industry. They will also get to make new friends and discover the country from the hosts perspective.
I started this business because I love traveling and this helped me have an experience in hospitality business. When I started the hostel, I try to convey this philosophy to the employees. Overall, there is a friendly atmosphere with a full respect for all the team, staff and guests.

I spent 2 meaningful weeks in Stork hostel Marrakech.
I work 5 hours per day, normally 1 hours cleaning in the morning and 4 hour reception. The distribution of the time depends on days.
The hostel is a nice environment, there is no other staff and less than 8 guests when I stayed there.
Faical provided me 35 dirham per week for breakfast, plus I can use the kitchen and some food in the fridge.
The hostel is at the prime location of Marrakech tourism centre. Near bahia palace.

My time at Stork was really good. The environment is super chill and familiar. My stay was during the begining of the season, so there were not many guests but to me that was something ok, because I could enjoy times of calmness. The hostel is super well located, the rooms are good and Faical is really nice and respectfull. I felt welcomed like I was home. The tasks were simple and the hours were followed, just be aware that the schedule is split during the day, so a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the afternoon. My favorite time of the day was sunset at the rooftop. It's precious!

I stayed 2 weeks in stork hostel , and it was very nice experience, I mostly help at breakfast shift and dinner , bringing food to tables and cleaning dishes and bathrooms. At dinner they gave me very traditional Moroccan food which it was a cool experience and delicious food. Please keep in mind there’s only one day off a week .
Faical is a very nice and welcoming , we had good communication and I recommend his hostel experience to everyone

El lugar está bien localizado, es limpio y ordenado. Si eres un viajero que requiere de eso, Es la mejor opción. Si eres un viajero de fiesta y diversión piénsalo un poco. Ya que el lugar es más para personas que buscan algo alejado del exceso de turismo y ruido que pueda haber zonas muy concurridas.
Faisal el anfitrión en una persona que sigue al pie de la letra lo planteado en el voluntariado así que si deseas un cambio o permiso de días comunícate con anticipación para poder llegar a un acuerdo. El lugar tiene una terraza increíble, dónde el amanecer y el atardecer son espectaculares.

Stork Luxury Hostel is a cozy and clean place to start travelling in Morocco and enjoy Marrakesh! I was in charge of the reception and the hours were respected most of the time. Keep in mind that, at least in January, there are not that much people in the hostel so it can be very boring. Also, consider that one day off is not enough to go really far from Marrakech. Anyway, I got along really well with the other volunteer there and had a great time! The manager can be strict sometimes but it was flexible when I kindly asked him to leave a week before because I had changed my plans. Thank you!
