Our team is family. We have the vibe you want to experience! Be sure to not feel alone here. And there is always something to discover!
If you want to chill at the beach before your shift, go surfing or on a road trip after: you won't be bored, I can promise you that :)

We are a small hostel with a team of 5-7 people. This allows us to meet all our guests on a very familiar level, as well as everyone of the staff! We are more a family than coworkers.

My experience at Tamaran went above my expectations and I ended up extending for another month :)
The work is not too hard and the schedule always allows you to have a lot of free time to explore the island or just relax at the beach.
I loved organising activities for the guests, like the movie nights, family dinners and pancake Sundays.
If you are considering applying to Tamaran, I can highly recommended doing it!
You’ll find great vibes, an amazing team and a supportive and caring manager <3
After only a couple weeks since I arrived, I could already say that I found a second home here!

Tamaran House is my second home! The time I spended here was the best time in Las Palmas. I met and lived with amazing people,shared so many good moments. The tasks are very simple as well as the shifts! Its like you are taking care of your own home. The best part is the rooftop terrace where you can relax!Also there are always so many activites they organize where you can meet many people. I want to thank all the team for being the best and fun team ever! 🤗 I will always come back here...Un besazo a todos ❤️

I highly recommend the volunteer experience in Tamaran hostel. I feel very grateful for spending my time in Gran Canaria in a hostel with such a good vibe. Everyone is caring, profesional, respectful, frendly. There is a very good atmosphere in the hostel and its very easy to feel at home and make friends. Thanks Tamaran!

I absolutely loved volunteering at Tamaran! It's a very cozy hostel with a relaxed vibe in a gorgeous location directly at the beach. Working hours are very fair and you have a lot free time to spent at the beach, surfing, exploring the island and socialising. Amelie is an amazing manager, she is a good leader and communicator - you can talk with her about everything and she has always a smile on her face <3. The volunteers working with me were really nice and made work here so easy.
My month working here went way too fast and I decided to stay 2 more months.

Tamaran House is a home. Everyone will be nice and welcoming. Communication with the host is great. Glad they were my first volunteer opportunity. Amelie is a great new manager <3
