Tipsea Turtle Gili Air and Gili Trawangan, Lombok

We have 2 hostels - 1 on Gili Air and 1 on GIli Trawangan, in Lombok, Indonesia. We have a strong team and are looking for friendly, enthusiastic and social individuals to help us maintain our great atmosphere.

Volunteers will be treated like any other staff member. That means they'll be respected, have responsibilities and also autonomy. You'll be offered a dorm bed, breakfast every morning and the same specials on the bar as the other staff.

This was my first worldpackers experience and I enjoyed it so much. I felt like home straight away and the hostel owner, manager and local staff were all so nice. :) I especially enjoyed interacting and making friends with all the guests from all over the world. <3 One of the best things I got to do was leading the weekly beach cleanings, which felt really meaningful and a great way to bond with the guests even more. I ended up leaving earlier than planned but everything regarding that was also handled so well. :) Thank you for everything Tipsea fam!

what about my stay in tipsea. I'm leaving after 3 weeks of living with wonderful people. to live an experience that will be unforgettable, to have a great time, to find myself again. Thanks to all the staff of both Gili Air and Gili T, to Lexy my boss, thank you for being another friend in this adventure, to Ry the owner for valuing me as he did, to all the co-workers that I have had during these weeks. I loved my stay at tipsea turtle, the people who work there are great and include you in to the team immediately. While on Gili T I became basically a local, because everyone knows each other. I would definitely recommend it and also come back again!

Volunteering at tipsea turtle was such a pleasure and the staff and other volunteers made it feel like one big family. Staff in Gili T won my heart and this island has the funniest and craziest parties I’ve ever attended. Volunteering in the hostel in Gili Air was very chill and nice, and the island is so beautiful. Here I got to meet some cool people and have lots of really interesting conversations. I would definitely recommend volunteering at tipsea!

I spent 3.5 weeks at Tipsea, and I had an absolutely wonderful time. The work barely felt like work, and I made some absolutely amazing friends. The environment is so unbelievably chill. I was so happy with my experience here!
