I had a wonderful experience with the Center 'family'. The setting is stunning and the whole team are a genuine, open and caring group of people. Volunteers are included and respected and made to feel an essential part of the operation. When guests were on site we had a super organised rota which allowed us to support all aspects of the operation and plan ahead for our own time off, taking part in the yoga and meditation classes where the rota allowed. A large part of volunteer work is cooking vegan food for the staff which I really enjoyed as it tested my imagination ;)

Coming to the Center was the best decision of my life! The people here are wonderful and make you feel apart of the family immediately, the work is enjoyable and the place it's self and the energy it carry's is absolutely beautiful! I would recommend this place to any spiritually conscious person that wants to learn and grow more, you won't regret it! Thank you MV and see you soon ❤️

One of the best experiences of my life so far! I could spend hours talking about this beautiful place and all the beautiful human being I met, but I think the proper way to really and deeply understand what can be experienced there is just going and staying there. If you are looking for something that allows you to remember to come home into yourself and your inner wisdom and at the same time to be truly inspired and enlighten by all the bright and vibrant souls who are living there or nearby, the Center is the place to be.

I am so grateful I had the chance to volunteer at the Center with an amazing team of such interesting people. I was able to explore the Algarve when I had my 2 days off and the team was so inclusive that I had the chance to participate to the meditations and yoga sessions offered by the holistic center. It helped me to find my balance since I had the opportunity to rest in that peaceful and beautiful working environement. When I was working, I had to help with the garden, housekeeping and cook vegan food with the vegetables available from the garden. Good energy, best experience ever

The best experience in the Center, good vibes, a beautiful place, quiet and connected to nature with a staff of wonderful people always worried if you are ok or need help. Together with the two volunteers we feel at home and part of the community. The work is well organized and on your days off you can get to know more of the surroundings, and also practice yoga, meditation and dance (I loved this class) I can only thank all especially Rich(Kurt) for sharing your wisdom and laughter, I hope come back soon. I wish them all the best. I miss them already.

Loved my stay at the Center, a beautiful place surrounded by nature and an amazing staff ❤ The only thing for me was that when the guests are here you don't have the same days-off and schedule than the others volunteers so can't really hang out with them... I learned a lot, food was amazing, the work was nice and you can come to the yoga and meditation class where the teachers are always ready to teach us things and answer your questions ! Recommend the experience ☺

Oi Lyne, obrigada pelo feedback, foi um prazer absoluto tê-la conosco! Obrigada novamente pelo seu trabalho duro e pela ótima companhia! Eu apenas queria acrescentar algo ao seu ponto sobre não ter o mesmo tempo de folga que os outros voluntários, apenas para equilibrá-lo um pouco para outros voluntários em potencial! Então sim, muitas vezes acontece que, enquanto os hóspedes estão aqui, todos vocês têm turnos individuais e dias de folga diferentes, mas quando os hóspedes não estão aqui (o que foi o caso na última semana de sua estadia), então vocês trabalharam todos nos mesmos horários e tiveram folgas juntos, incluindo também o último fim de semana. Como regra geral, eu sempre tento iniciar os voluntários alguns dias antes do início de um retiro, e deixá-los alguns dias depois, para que possamos passar algum tempo juntos como grupo e comunidade, mas infelizmente isso não foi possível com você, pois você foi uma substituição de última hora, o que significou que você chegou durante um retiro em vez de antes também! It's an incredible place! Surrounded by nature and tranquility. It's a perfect place to connect with yourself and align with spirituality if that's what you are looking for. The staff is always well disposed and everyone is very friendly. Especially Karen and Ivan are lovely people and always make you laugh! It is important to know that it is far from the city so keep this in mind when choosing to stay there. Know how to drive a manual car or pay for a car to be able to move around because it is really far away. I had a nice experience! Very thankful for my time with them :)

Oi Sofia, foi ótimo tê-la conosco e obrigada pelas suas palavras tão gentis sobre nós! Para futuros voluntários potenciais, vou dar um pouco de contexto sobre o quão longe estamos de Lagos, pois isso pode ser interpretado de maneiras diferentes a partir de sua avaliação! Estamos a cerca de 15 minutos de carro de Lagos (14 km) e há ônibus que saem desde cedo pela manhã, por volta de 07:30, com o último retornando por volta de 18:30, no entanto não são muito frequentes. Você precisa caminhar cerca de 40 minutos para chegar à parada de ônibus, ou então temos uma bicicleta disponível para ir até a parada, ou alguns voluntários usam a bicicleta para ir até Lagos. Na maioria dos dias, alguém do local estará dirigindo para a cidade em algum momento, então muitas vezes é possível conseguir uma carona lá (e às vezes também uma carona de volta, embora não possamos garantir caronas, e geralmente é mais fácil chegar lá do que voltar). E qualquer pessoa que queira ficar fora até tarde tende a pegar um Uber de volta, especialmente se houver um grupo, ou fazer uma viagem de alguns dias nos dias de folga e ficar fora. No entanto, acho que o ponto principal é que nosso retiro definitivamente atende pessoas interessadas e confortáveis em ficar fora na natureza e conviver com a comunidade; é complicado se você quiser ir para a cidade com muita frequência, pois não estamos realmente preparados para isso. Tudo de bom!

Such an amazing place to be at, and the people are extremely welcoming and we (volunteers) immediately felt at home and part of their community which is more like a big family. During the stay everybody was very helpful, we had an amazing time, we could participate in many activities. This is a place for spiritual, conscious people, who love to engage in meaningful conversations, healthy living and surrounding themselves with nature. I would come back at any time!
