The Backpack is definitely the best hostel I have ever been in my life. It's a safe, cozy, clean place. It's close to all facilities that we need. All the staff is so friendly. The job itself is easy, basically to help in the breakfast, reception shifting and manager the bar. Don't be afraid to apply to stay in there. The Backpack é um lugar incrível. Limpo, organizado, seguro e perto de tudo que precisamos no dia a dia, como mercados, caixa eletrônico e restaurantes. Todo mundo na casa de hóspedes foi tão acolhedor, gentil e caloroso !! Consegui ótimas conexões com os outros voluntários (tanto locais quanto internacionais), bem como com a equipe e alguns hóspedes. Fui durante os meses de inverno mais tranquilos, o que me deixou muito tempo livre para fazer conexões e explorar a cidade. Eu recomendaria a casa de hóspedes a qualquer pessoa que procure uma experiência enriquecedora!

To be honest, I am shocked from my volunteer experience at the guest house!! The memories I made here were the best of my life. I made so many friends through other volunteers, staff, and guests. You have to explore this location for yourself!! I felt like family the first day I arrived, and I will never forget this place; it holds a particular place in my heart. The Villa is a space that connects you to your tribe, whatever that is. The environment and energy of the Villa itself,the employees , Villa guests and volunteers is a very harmonious flow of integrated connection.Its easy to make it your home away from home. I especially loved their activities that always created an opportunity to mix and mingle with different people from all over the world. I learnt so much including becoming a barista and bar assistant . The place is central and close to many tourist activities. Perfect is what I think it is. Thank you Moritz and your team.

My experience at the guest house was beautiful. The place became a home for me and during the three months the whole crew felt like a family. I can totally recommend this experience as the task and shifts were also very reasonable and the work is a lot of fun as well :) thank you the guest house for this amazing time!!
