Minha estadia foi incrível graças ao relacionamento maravilhoso que tive com outro voluntário e aos alunos muito gentis; adoro isso. Abdel foi muito atencioso desde o momento em que ligamos antes da minha chegada e se certificou de que eu estivesse bem. No entanto, acho que a estadia na casa do voluntário poderia melhorar com a comunicação. Por exemplo, ninguém me explicou as regras, como que eu também tinha que pagar pelas coisas básicas como papel toalha, água, detergente para roupas, e também não há Wi‑Fi na casa :/ então, honestamente, isso foi desconfortável porque é tão básico… Vivi como um local, fiz compras no souk, fiz um hammam ◡̈

Esta viagem a Beni Mellal foi uma experiência humana extraordinária, profundamente marcante. É aqui que realmente entendi o que eu procurava: ver a realidade, às vezes a miséria, mas principalmente a beleza da simplicidade. A escola é um lugar incrível. As crianças são curiosas, sorridentes, cheias de vida, e os professores de francês são gentis, pacientes e muito abertos. Mesmo com um nível de francês imperfeito, conseguimos criar vínculos. Um sorriso, um gesto, uma intenção sincera às vezes valem mais do que as palavras.

Minhas 4 semanas na the school em Beni Mellal foram uma experiência incrível. Fui recebido de braços abertos por Khalid, Luke e Abdel. Um agradecimento especial para Khalid, meu principal ponto de contato, que tornou minha estadia o mais confortável possível e me mostrou a forma marroquina autêntica de viver. Viagens de fim de semana às montanhas, comida tradicional (deliciosa) e a oportunidade de se conectar com os locais e os alunos. Muito obrigado a Abdel por toda a sua ajuda, a Luke pelas aventuras matinais até Ain e pelas intensas partidas de cartas e aos meus incríveis companheiros de quarto Moruya, Wam, Ally e Kaitlyn, nunca mudem. Amo todos vocês <3

It was an amazing experience. our task were social media and teaching italian. The hours were respected and you can't do more than 15h/week. We lived in a shared apartament with other volunteers. There was once a week couscous offered from the the school and some trips around, big thanks to Said I felt sick and i needed to leave before and we found an agreement. I recommend. The only problem i personally had was having no wifi in the apartment and no hot water for the shower, the rest was all good, people in kelaa (the city) and in the the school are super welcoming and i hope one day to come back

This was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. Abdel is cool and open minded to ideas about the the school and media. I was able to meet people and create strong bonds with them. It's experiences like this one that strengthen my belief in God because a lot happened that I didn't expect and those surprises were for the better. I would recommend 100%

The the school is the organization most dedicated to promoting the wellbeing of their students that I have seen on worldpackers. Even if it is a for profit institution, Abdel and Luke are dedicated to the wellbeing of the community and trying to provide an opportunity to improve their lives and as well as provide cultural exchange between the students and the volunteers. They are attentive to the needs and wellbeing of the volunteers and always ready for feedback. Stanshkl Hwa!

Abdel and Luke were very attentive and helpful. I felt respected and cared for as if I were one of the family. Every Sunday was adventure day and we visited many local waterfalls, rivers and bonded in local natural settings. I felt welcomed by all the people I met in Kelaa and would love to return to send time with my new friends. I made great friendships with the other volunteers and hope to meet up with them in the future.

If you are looking for a cultural experience supported by a group of dedicated professionals, I suggest you consider volunteering with Abdel and his team. I taught 9 - 19 yo students English at one of their schools, located in Attaouia, a small town 1h East of Marrakech. I taught 1-1 lessons for 3 hr/day average. I stayed at an apt 3 mins walk from the the school. Meals were not included. Tried the local cuisine and also cooked. Abdel checked in frequently and small things were taken care of immediately. Two highlights were the deep conversations with the staff and the contact with the students.
