Minha experiência como voluntário na organização Fundation, ( que por sinal foi minha primeira), foi excepcional. Você ajuda de manhã na escola com crianças de 3 a 8 anos e de tarde fica na casa junto a cyrus, jeromy, wikrifu, getu, nuulu, john, joel, lydia e emmanuel que realmente viraram minha família ugandes :). Todas as crianças e adolescentes da casa são extremamente educados, divertidos e estão sempre dispostos a te ajudar em qualquer coisa.emmanuel e lydia são pessoas muito boas... e estão fazendo um excelente trabalho para a comunidade onde eles vivem ( jinja namulesa). Obrigado Emma

Foram dias deliciosos perto do rio Nilo, com as melhores pessoas de Uganda. Sem falar da deliciosa comida preparada com carinho e as doces crianças que vivem por lá. Gayela a organização é realmente especial e você vai se encantar assim que chegar! As tarefas são prazerosas e Emma te dará liberdade de escolher onde você melhor se encaixa. Você pode ajudar na plantação, na cozinha, com as crianças ou aprender muito, mas muito mesmo com a encantadora e poderosa Mama Flo'... ah, que mulher! Aprender artesanato com ela é sensacional! É um lugar de muito aprendizado, DEFINITIVAMENTE!

To the most rewarding, touching and powerful experience of my life. To Lydia and Emma who warmly welcomed me and to the unique bonds created with the children at home: Mwenja, Jeremy, Chris, Regard, those at school: Darius, Cyprien..., the teachers: especially Rebecca and Ariette and the volunteers (to Vanessa my twin). I'll never forget you, you've all marked me with your kindness, good humor and love. Just thank you and Onona.

It was a very impressive experience! If you love children, this place is like heaven. The children here love our volunteers. Sometimes when the water doesn't come out and the lights go out, the people here are positive, and you can also think twice about your attitude in life. If you come here, make sure you think about what you can do as a volunteer and act.

For me volunteering with the organization was a super positive experience. The children at school are great you can feel the desire to learn. Preparing lessons and teaching is an experience to try. Lydia and Emma are very ambitious and determined people with a kind heart. The family at home became my second family. Thanks for everything guys❤️

Mi experiencia fue de las mejores de mi vida. El trabajo que ahí se hace para brindarles un mejor presente y futuro a los chicos de la región es incalculable. La casa se siente como un hogar. Cada uno de los anfitriones hace que la experiencia sea increíble. Y me tocó un grupo hermoso de voluntarios. En la escuela el trato con los voluntarios es excelente y te dan un lugar de gran importancia. Los chicos son lo más lindo que hay. Volvería una y mil veces, porque es una experiencia con todas las letras. Gracias Emma, Lydia y a toda la familia por la calidez, la amabilidad y el cariño.

Thank Emma , Lydia and The whole kids Team in the Family … really nice people , with big hearts! Participating with the children at school was extremely beautiful, very affectionate and eager to learn... teaching them and they teaching me, playing and singing together! finding simplicity and smiles as an everyday gift… I will return to Africa to continue with social volunteering, it is a great contribution, extremely necessary for the children. Thank you again for the space, the home and the love

It was one of the best decisions I've ever made - to come to volunteer in this project! the team and people in general in Uganda are amazing! the hosts are interested in making your time there as best as it's possible! you feel like you MAKE A CHANGE and that's so wonderful! everything is planned and you see how the project is progressing!!! I would definitely recommend it for everyone! you would not regret it! the living conditions are rural and quite simple - but frankly don't even think about this! get a ticket plane and come to Uganda to help the guys make a change!

This experience was very multifaceted; it was fun, resilience-building, enriching, confronting at times, and incredibly eye-opening. I am so glad I did it. I learnt much about Uganda, its culture and how quality education is inaccessible for so many children. This was my first time volunteering/visiting Africa, and Emma/Lydia and everyone in their family welcomed me with open arms. They are kind and generous people who will consider you as family. Their commitment to improving the children's lives through education and engagement is truly commendable. Thank you so much for hosting me.
