Esta foi uma ótima experiência para começar a fazer voluntariado! Eu estava um pouco com medo do que esperar, mas o hostel tem uma atmosfera social e acolhedora incrível, equipe maravilhosa e pessoas maravilhosas!! boa localização e tarefas agradáveis. Porto é encantador, fico feliz por ter podido fazer parte disso por um tempo, obrigada :)

O que começou como uma aventura e um 'preenchimento de tempo' para minhas viagens, inesperadamente e rapidamente se tornou um lar longe de casa. O ambiente, a energia, as vistas de Porto, as pessoas (Tomás, e as minhas pessoas favoritas na recepção que me faziam sorrir todos os dias) estou tão grato pela comunidade, pelas memórias e pela experiência. Porto não é apenas um lugar, é um sentimento que você entenderá em breve se escolher esta oportunidade. Não poderia ter pedido pela melhor primeira experiência de voluntariado!

Esta é a sexta experiência de voluntariado de trabalho e viagem que eu já fiz e cada uma é diferente e especial à sua maneira. Acabei de passar cerca de dois meses no hostel para viajantes e eu tive a melhor experiência! Acho que definitivamente depende dos seus colegas voluntários, mas mesmo sem isso, a equipe, o trabalho, a localização, a cidade em si são incríveis. Se você é uma pessoa que adora se conectar com as pessoas e gosta de sair (vai ser uma grande parte do seu tempo lá ;) ), então eu realmente só posso recomendar este lugar. Muito obrigado por me receber e por me dar a chance de conhecer tantas pessoas incríveis <3

My time at the hostel was really great! Everyone was so friendly, and I made friends for life 🫶Porto is such a beautiful city, and the work was reasonable, so I had plenty of time to enjoy everything. Definitely recommend if you want a social and fun stay!

Volunteering at the hostel was the biggest blessing and I have made so many unforgettable memories there. The 'work' is completely fair and more often than not really enjoyable. This is an incredible way to travel and make new friends that turn into family very quickly. The staff there are all lovely and super helpful. On top of that, Porto is a stunning city with so much to do! If you ever get the chance to volunteer here, you should definitely take it!

I had a great time at the hostel and would definitely recommend it. The shifts were quite easy and didn't really feel like work. the hostel had many activities both in the day and the evening that we could join. It's a great place to meet new people and make new friends. The actual hostel is really very clean and probably the nicest one I've stayed in. Thank you so much for the experience, I'm very glad I came to volunteer here :)

Words cant describe how privileged i feel to have spent my summer at the hostel. it was the most amazing experience you could ask for. the team - staff, volunteers, cleaning, everyybodyy - are so incredibly kind and make you feel like family. the work rarely feels like work, socialising with guests and helping around the hostel, just be ready to be social and have a great time - but you wont struggle, its impossible not to. i 10000% recommend this experience to anyone who has the opportunity. porto is a beautiful city with so much to offer, and the friendships are for a lifetime❤️

Picking the hostel as a volunteer experience was truly one of the best decisions I've made this year. I can highly recommend this experience to anyone who's outgoing and social and wants to stay in a hostel that feels like family! Tomás the manager is really helpful and when it comes to the actual volunteering the working hours are very reasonable and most of the activities are social ones. In the end what makes this hostel so unique are the people in it. Thank you for being so amazing everyone - I will keep this place in my heart forever!🫶
