This volunteering experience turned into one of my favourite travels ever. the hostel really feels like a family, the people you meet and the memories you make are truly unforgettable. The shifts aren't too difficult and are very social, so they often don't feel like work at all. The staff are also always ready to help if you need anything and are patient with the new volunteers. the hostel itself is one of the nicest hostels i've stayed in. I'm so incredibly grateful for this opportunity, I miss everyone so much and hope to see you again soon💗

This was my first experience as a volunteer through worldpackers and it exceeded all of my expectations. Thomas had a lot of understanding towards all of the volunteers. The tasks are diverse and involve a lot of interaction with the guests, and if a volunteer has a preference for a certain type of task, he/she can communicate this to Thomas and he will try to take it into account for next week. I highly recommend this experience to any other person who considers coming here. Big thanks to the hostel family for everything, sending lots of love until we see each other again. Alexia 🩷

I had the absolute best experience at the hostel. This experience will forever have a special place in my heart. The work is fun, the hostel is very nice but the people and the team behind the hostel are very amazing people who are really welcoming and were a very big part of making my experience as amazing as it was. My time at the hostel was honestly one of the best months of my life. I had an amazing time getting to know all of the other volunteers and travelers. The staff felt like family. It never felt like work it was constantly fun and enjoyable. Porto is the perfect city to explore. Big enough to always have something to do but small enough to walk everywhere. I had a great time exploring during the day and the nightlife was a blast. If you are a social person I couldn't recommend this hostel more!
