It must be stated clearly that the challenges we faced during your stay were not minor but significant. Despite the initial positive impression, we observed a consistent pattern of under performance and disregard for the responsibilities assigned to you. Our program is designed to be dynamic and requires a high level of engagement and commitment from all participants. Unfortunately, your efforts fell short of these expectations.
The issues were not limited to a lack of initiative in completing tasks but extended to a noticeable disregard for the quality and timeliness of your work. Such behavior not only undermines the values of our volunteer program but also impacts the well-being and experience of the entire community. Despite repeated feedback and guidance, there was little improvement, indicating a reluctance to adapt and contribute meaningfully.
Moreover, your approach and attitude towards the shared responsibilities and community living were concerning. The perception of arrogance and an unwillingness to fully integrate and cooperate with other members of the household created unnecessary tension. A community thrives on mutual respect, collaboration, and the collective efforts of all its members. When these principles are not upheld, it disrupts the harmony and productivity of the entire group.
Upon your application, it was noted that you did not possess any fitness qualifications, with your experience limited to dancing and climbing. Despite this, you expressed a keen interest in learning about healthy eating, fitness and participating in our fitness classes offered free of charge. To support your interests, we offered free access to three fitness classes and three Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) classes per week. Disappointingly, after the initial two weeks, your enthusiasm waned, and despite one of our instructor's personal offer to accompany you one day to the gym for additional training, this opportunity was not embraced with the seriousness and commitment it warranted. Instead, this session was not utilized as intended, with reports of you treating this time less as a learning opportunity and more as a time to "mess around".This lack of engagement in the fitness and nutritional aspects of our program was concerning, particularly given your stated objectives and the resources made available to you. Our program prides itself on fostering a proactive and engaged learning environment. We encourage all volunteers to take full advantage of the opportunities provided to enrich their understanding and practice of healthy living.
Regarding your dietary habits, it is important to clarify that our feedback/advice given to you was in line with the principles of our Fitness and Nutrition establishment, aiming to promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle. The excessive consumption of food, beyond the provisions of three meals a day (clearly stated on our profile and discuss on a call), strained our resources and was not in keeping with the shared nature of our program. It was hoped that our guidance would be received with an understanding of the intent to maintain the health and sustainability of our community.
In conclusion, while we regret that your experience did not meet your expectations, it is imperative for the success of our program and the satisfaction of all involved that each volunteer fully embraces their role and the community standards. We take this opportunity to reflect on and improve our program, ensuring future volunteers have a clear understanding of their responsibilities and the values we hold dear.
We wish you well in your future endeavors.
