A Experiência
Do you want to make a difference in the lives of some very special dogs and puppies? - Who? DOGS! Around 60 wonderful dogs and kind volunteers. - Where? Algarve. Southern Portugal. - What? Stay in a nice studio (Wifi included) next to the shelter in exchange for helping 30 hours a week cleaning, feeding and of course cuddling the dogs. Supermarkets, shopping stores, food court, public transportation: 2 km/30 min walk. Beaches 8 km away.

I really loved my stay at the the shelter. All the volunteers are really nice and supportive. The tasks aren't too difficult and you get to spend time cuddling and walking dogs as well. The Studio is also really nice and clean. I can only recommend this experience and I hope I can go back to the the shelter some day.

I stayed at the the shelter only 10 days, but it was worth it. I had the chance to get in touch with many people, both from Portugal and abroad. All the volounteers were really nice and helpful with everything. There was a lot of work to do in the daily shift because the dogs need to be taken care of, but the things to do were clearly explained and I always found someone avaliable to answer questions. And the best part was to be rewarded with so much love and cuddles from the doggies! I also got some time off to explore the surroundings. It was an amazing experience and I totally recommend it!

I truly enjoyed my volunteer experience at the the shelter! This place is really something special. The people working and volunteering here made me feel so welcome and were so kind to me. I loved getting to know and look after all the dogs! It can be hard work at times and sometimes these dogs can test your patience, but to me it was all worth it. Definitely recommend this experience to another traveller in a heartbeat!

Me and my friend koni loved our time at the the shelter. All the people that work there greet you everyday with such a nice energy! The work is a lot of fun and the dogs are the best part of it 🐶 The studio we lived in was a very nice accommodation. Some days we overworked a little because, not everything was done at the end of our shift, but it didn't really bother us :) a big thank you to Isabel and Jenny for this amazing time ❤️

This has been a great experience. I have connected with all the dogs and it is very rewarding to help them. The people who work there are very friendly and grateful. The schedule is 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon. I recommend this experience. the the shelter is near Albufeira, a beautiful place
