Como colocar em palavras algo tão único? Esse foi meu primeiro voluntário, minha primeira viagem internacional e minha primeira viagem sozinho e eu não poderia ter mais sorte! O the hostel é agora minha segunda casa, Rodrigo e Nuno como irmãos! O ambiente é maravilhoso, eles estão sempre à disposição para ajudar, parcerias e tudo. Negócio é tão surreal que consegui aprender inglês em dois meses. Fiz grandes amizades e conexões. Viva essa história tu tbm! My experience at LSH was really great. The other volunteers I was with made the experience amazing. We went surfing, played volleyball, explored the hostel, had family dinners and movie nights. The hostel is a very special place! The workload was very manageable.

As soon as I arrived at the hostel, Pedro and the rest of the team made me feel welcome straight away. I got the chance to meet so many other amazing volunteers and travellers, volunteering at the hostel was an experience I'll always be grateful for.

I had a really great time at the surf hostel! Everything was well organized, the work wasn't too difficult and all the people were super nice and welcoming. I felt very comfortable from the beginning and really enjoyed my time there. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The only downside of my first volunteering experience at LSH was having to leave after one month. Saying goodbye to the place and especially to the people was harder than I expected. The work is easy and leaves plenty of free time. The hostel is very close to Carcavelos Beach and not far from the hostel, and having free surf equipment from the connected surf school was amazing. Thanks to all the volunteers for the great moments and to Pedro for always being helpful and flexible. I'm leaving with amazing memories, new friendships, and a month I'll never forget. I'll be back as soon as I can.

What an incredible experience!! I'm so grateful I got to spend my August at the hostel. Created memories and friendships I will hold dearly for the rest of my life. Location is perfect, close to the beach but still very close to the city. This was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to WP. Workload is super manageable and allows you a lot of time to explore outside of the hostel too. I really hope to be back again!

It was my first time volunteering, and it was such a great experience. The tasks were simple, and I had plenty of time to go out and explore Portugal on my own! The managers and the other volunteers I met were genuinely kind, open, and easy to get along with. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone. Thank you!!!

Such an amazing experience with the most amazing team. It's a laid back and enjoyable environment where you have the opportunity to connect easily with both other volunteers and the guests staying there. I know other volunteers will agree when I say that having Rodrigo and Manduxo as our managers made the experience what it was! The hours are as agreed upon and flexible with days off, allowing you to go on surf trips with other volunteers or guests if communicated in advance! The volunteer bedroom is small but as expected for a volunteer position and you make it work! Highly recommend!
