I absolutely love my stay at the hostel! The shifts were always easy. Morning shift had to make breakfast and prepare the beds and in the afternoon/evening shift you had to do reception work. But you could always relax during your shifts, it was never had work. Everyone is so welcoming, so friendly, it really feels like a huge family. Manduxo, Bia und Rodrigo always organise everything really smoothly and you'll have a lot of free time before and after your shifts too, with 3 days off per week. Breakfast, Surf lessons and Surf materials are included during your stay too.Thank you all!

Que experiência maravilhosa!! O hostel é muito bom, em uma área tranquila, e oferece muitas atividades. A atmosfera é super relaxante e divertida, você também tem bastante tempo livre. Um grande obrigado à equipe e a todos os voluntários, eu me senti em casa🤙

Eu passei o melhor verão trabalhando na LSH! Conheci as pessoas mais incríveis e tive a chance de explorar uma cidade tão bonita. O trabalho às vezes pode ser agitado, mas a equipe fez valer a pena. Também ter a chance de aprender a surfar e participar das aulas gratuitas de ioga foi uma grande vantagem. Vou sentir falta de todos lá, especialmente o Manduxo, e não posso recomendar a experiência o bastante.

Meu tempo no albergue foi incrível!☺️ Todos foram muito simpáticos, o trabalho era justo e fácil de aprender, e os gerentes e a equipe eram super legais e descontraídos. Eu amei tanto que cheguei a prolongar minha estadia :) Formei amizades profundas, e dizer adeus foi realmente difícil. Recomendo muito essa experiência e mal posso esperar para voltar!

Minha experiência no hostel foi incrível! As aulas gratuitas de surfe e ioga foram incomparáveis! A equipe foi muito gentil e respeitosa, verdadeiramente um dos meus lugares e pessoas favoritas para trabalhar! As horas sempre eram respeitadas e o trabalho era facilmente realizável uma vez que você pegou o jeito. Minhas meninas voluntárias e o Juan foram a melhor companhia que eu poderia ter pedido🫶 Verdadeiramente pessoas incríveis e um tempo incrível que nunca vou esquecer. Obrigado ao hostel por tudo🙏

I enjoyed my time here so much I decided to cancel my flight back home and extend a few days . Rodrigo ,Bea and Manduxo are so kind and welcoming . My first day here already felt like I had been here for months . I loved the yoga classes ,pool , the hammocks , surf lessons . The location is perfect . Only 5 min walk to Pingo (supermarket) , 10min walk to the beach , and 2 min walk to the station that will take you to the hostel (20min) and Cascais (15min). It was the perfect way to spend my summer ! Thank you to all the volunteers and staff I've created lifelong memories here :)

The hostel is wonderful: lot of green, lot of space and a swimming pool. It was super easy to get along with people. And here I met truly some of the best I have ever met. Rodrigo was a friend before than a manager and this helped me a lot while doing the assigned shifts: he was always kind and ready to help me. The shifts are very easy to do, sometimes in the busiest days it can get more intense, but it's normal. It is a very fair exchange. I wish you to be as lucky as I was to live this experience. LSH was one of the best thing happened in my life. Truly a home away from home.

It was my first time volunteering and I couldn't have had a better experience. Everybody, from the managers and volunteers to the guests, were extremely nice. Rodrigo was such a chill person so he really made you feel welcome there. Mandux was super funny and welcoming as well. I stayed there for a month but it felt like a week. I got to visit amazing places with incredible views. I also got the chance to surf a bit. I am truly grateful to have been part of the team even if was for a short period of time.

The month I spent here at the hostel has been nothing short of perfection. Everything about this place made me feel so at home, and Nuno & Rodrigo were amazing hosts who always made sure the volunteers were being treated well. The work is well balanced and is quite easy to pick up once you get the hang of it, but even so there is always someone who can help if you're unsure. Definitely didn't expect to have such a hard time saying goodbye, but I am so so grateful to have been able to be a part of this incredible experience and to have met the people who made it so special 🫶

I absolutely loved my stay at the hostel! I remember feeling so at home after only a few days. The entire team is so welcomeing and kind and you really feel like a part of team! The hours are good and the work is fair. Everything is very structured and nice and the schedule is easy to plan around. Overall I had a fantastic stay and would love to come back if I ever get the chance!
