This is my second review for the hostel, I came for one month in July and ended up staying 6 months! Truly a life changing experience seeing this place go from what it was to what it is now and I'm so excited to see its future. The atmosphere is welcoming and chill and the work is not too tasking, so I would recommend this place to anyone, especially those on their first worldpackers trip. Thank you the hostel for everything🫶🏻

My experience at the hostel was just perfect. It really felt like a second home and I felt welcome right from the start. I met so many amazing people, and I even stayed a month longer than planned because I loved it so much. The hostel is really beautiful, and it is at the perfect location close to the beach and the hostel at the same time. The working hours are very fair and everything is well-structured. The managers are the best! Just great and funny people who can help you with anything! I really had an unforgettable time and I would recommend it to anyone to volunteer here!!! <3

My time at the hostel has been so special. Thank you to Nuno and Rodrigo, they were always happy to help and made you feel welcome as soon as you arrive! The work is fair and you have lots of free time to explore the area + city and spend time with the other volunteers. I couldn't recommend this place enough! My volunteering experience at the hostel was truly memorable. Management was good and extremely helpful. I felt very welcome from the very start! I met the most amazing people and making friends was easy, because of the fun and social atmosphere. The hostel's location is perfect, close to the beach and to the hostel. The work was very fair and hours were always respected. Overall I would absolutely recommend it. My time at the hostel will always hold a special place in my heart!

My stay at the hostel was such an amazing time! It was my first experience with WorldPackers and I could not recommend staying here enough. Nuno and Rodrigo were the best hosts and they really cared about each of us and made us feel at home. Thanks for everything and I hope to come back someday <3

I had a fantastic time staying at the hostel thanks to Nuno and Rodrigo and all the amazing volunteers I had the pleasure of working alongside. There is a great work life balance at the hostel and Carcavelos is a great place to learn how to surf aswell. I'd recommend this volunteering experience to everyone !

This has been one of the most wholesome and beautiful experiences I've ever had. The atmosphere at the hostel is warm and welcoming from the guests to the volunteers and the patrones Rodrigo and Nuno, who always make you feel heard and appreciated. I planned to stay for only three weeks, but it turned into two months because of how wonderful this place is. The tasks at the hostel require a medium effort, but they felt easier because we had a well-structured schedule for them. Volunteering at the hostel was one of the best things I ever did. I met the most amazing people from all over the world and had so much fun. Everything went smooth thanks to Nuno and Rodrigo, who were the best hosts and always made sure you're comfortable. The work was absolutely manageable and you have a lot of time to surf or explore the hostel. The hostel felt like a second home and I wish I could've stayed longer. I will definitely come back one day! 🫶🏻🥹

A Great experience, all staff and volunteers are welcoming & friendly. The working hours can seem long but the work itself is easy, fair & flexible. The facilities of the hostel are great, with spaces to work/study or relax by the pool . All the managers are friendly and helpful, Rodrigo was always available to talk and discuss or to ask any questions. I had an amazing time at the hostel. If you want to learn how to surf in your free time definitely recommend. The people that I met were amazing and it always felt like a second home. Nuno and Rodrigo are always happy to help with everything. The hostel is really close to the beach and the train station so seeing new places is really easy.
