Altamente recomendo este projeto! Tive um tempo incrível fazendo voluntariado na fazenda com o anfitrião Sourav. Ele é super acolhedor, solidário e sempre feliz em te ensinar sobre a vida na fazenda e o viver sustentável. O lugar fica em um ambiente natural lindo. Muito tranquilo, verde e perfeito para se desconectar e recarregar as energias. A comida foi incrível — refeições frescas e caseiras todos os dias. A estadia foi muito confortável e limpa. Parecia casa. O que torna este lugar especial é que agricultura, ambiente natural e unidades de energia estão todas juntas em um só lugar. Você recebe uma experiência prática real aqui.

Eu me diverti muito na fazenda. Chegamos em uma época extremamente quente do ano, então precisávamos acordar cedo e começar a trabalhar antes do calor. As tarefas não foram muito extenuantes e gostei muito delas. Esta fazenda depende bastante de voluntários — o anfitrião, Saurabh, é uma pessoa muito gentil e autêntica e poderia usar algumas mãos extras. Eu especialmente adorei morar com as vacas. Elas são tão doces e gentis. No geral, uma experiência incrível.

Passei um tempo realmente agradável fazendo voluntariado nesta fazenda. O projeto é significativo e as ambições e a mentalidade de Saurabh são muito inspiradoras. É um ótimo lugar para se desconectar das ocupadas cidades indianas e aproveitar um estilo de vida mais simples, voltando ao básico : trabalhar, comer arroz e dal, se divertir com as vacas e dar descanso e energia ao corpo. É preciso vir com as expectativas certas : é uma verdadeira vida no campo na vila indiana, com raízes de acomodação e facilidades. Volunteered here with my 15 year old daughter. It's a small farm with plans to build mud house, vegetable patch and cow sheds. All of this is yet to be ready so we spent most of our time decorating the bamboo shed used for living. The area is very beautiful so we walked around in the evening enjoying the lovely weather and fresh air. It was a good break from the city life for us and we loved the time spent together.

The farm is good place to be with Nature, you can enjoy the greenery around rejuvenate your self. Saurabh the host was very helpful he is on mission to make a community with full of nature enthusiast. Its a must visit place if you like to spend time in village & nature, if you are comfortable to live with the natural way of living then you should backpack and be ready to venture this place.

Our stay at the farm was so great. We did enjoy our time at the farm. The host saurabh is so caring and helpful. He was always looking for our comfort and safety. He is an expert in organic farming and permaculture. We got to learn so many things from him. We did plant so many trees together. Meeting with locals and sharing our cultures was one of the best memories we will cherish for lifetime. Our stay was very comfortable though it is a tent stay but the views were so amazing. I would highly recommend staying at this farm if you love spending time in peaceful, calm location.

Spending time at the farm was definitely a great experience for us! Saurabh is very welcoming and really tried to make our stay as nice as possible. He taught us a lot about indian cultures and traditions as well as about ecofriendly living. The whole project is very young, therfore the living situation was basic and a lot of ideas for the farm are still in progress or are planned for the future - so required tasks could change over time. During our stay we helped with painting, restoring, building and farming. Also it was exciting to get an insight into the villagers lives around the farm.

We had the pleasure to spend 6 days on the farm at Desi Bhandu. Saurabh and his team (Baba) were great hosts and made us feel like we were at home. Saurabh told us about his vision and it will truly one day be something very special. Saurabh had us doing a wide range of tasks including farming, painting, building rock walls, and digging holes for a tree plantation. It was great to be doing something different almost every day. We also learnt about local Indian culture and traditions in the village which is something not every traveller gets to experience!
