Manish e sua família foram incríveis! Eles me ajudaram com tudo que eu precisava. Todo dia eu recebia almoço e jantar. A única coisa que foi meio decepcionante é o tempo; fazia muito calor lá, então foi bem difícil pintar um mural e fazer as outras coisas do lado de fora entre as 11h e as 18h. Eu deveria ter verificado o tempo para as datas antes. Mas de qualquer forma eu me diverti bastante, visitamos alguns lugares legais pela região, a cidade é pequena e eu não vi nenhum turista por perto, também eu era o único voluntário. Fizemos voluntariado no My Friends Hostel por um mês e tivemos uma experiência incrível. Fomos recebidos e incluídos imediatamente e realmente parecia um lar longe de casa. Manish criou um ambiente onde todos os artistas e voluntários se sintam valorizados, independentemente das diferentes habilidades que podem oferecer, e fazer parte de uma equipe. Além disso, fora do albergue pudemos experimentar a cultura local, explorar a região e conhecer pessoas maravilhosas. Nós realmente valorizamos essa experiência e a recomendamos a qualquer pessoa!

The three weeks I spent at the hostel was truly a magical experience that I will never forget. Manish, his friends, and his family are all so welcoming and kind. His wife, Khushbu, is such a fantastic cook! The food is always so good. Manish is a man with soo many great ideas for Nepal, and the world. He is also always so accommodating and was so welcoming right from the start. He can also help you to see other parts of Nepal if you desire! Just let him know. I have made unforgettable memories and friends for life at the hostel. I cannot thank Manish enough for my time there.

I've created unforgettable memories here—tasted incredible food, experienced authentic local activities, made lots of local friends, pushed past my own limits, met amazing artists and musicians, ventured into the jungle, climbed through caves, hiked mountains, and did so many things for the very first time. The host, Manish, is one of the friendliest people I've ever met—he truly made me feel at home. Manish was the most generous, kind host. He went above & beyond for me & his other volunteers to ensure our needs and wants were met - he was thoughtful about the activities he booked, he made sure I was taken care of when I fell ill & needed help with my visa. He introduced us to local people and places, spoke patiently about the Nepalese culture, without judgement, and with such passion. His ideas are incredible & he really wants to help communities in Nepal. He is making a difference & encouraging people to create & spread kindness Beautiful hostel, beautiful people, amazing experience.

At my arrival i was greeted kindly, my room was cozy and we had a nice conversation. His wife was preparing absolutely delicious meals. The food is definitely one of my favorites. Over the course of two month i met many locals and did a few tours. The holistic therapy and yoga sessions where not provided. Towards the end of my stay we had an argument, after asking what i did wrong or what i had done to offend him i got no real answer. After that event the mood changed and the friendship was now worth nothing or non existent. We came to an arrangement in the end. I guess its cool for ashortstay

During my two weeks volunteering in Manish's Hostel. I got to experience many cultural exchanges like the Chhat Festival where I was invited to celebrate with Manish's family and children. I was also introduced to many good Nepali dishes by Manish's wife who is a great cook! In addition, I learned new skills for developing and designing the hostel website as well as working with Manish and Nitsha in their eco-printing workshop. Overall, I recommend to stay in Manish's place if you're interested in volunteering your time and learning new skills while engaging with the local culture at once!

The family welcomed me in a very warm way. I felt taken care of and had a pleasant time. the food was amazing!!! the enviroment inspired me to connect with my creativity, manish is a man that is flowing with ideas. so if you look for a place where you can relax, create and experience a realistic nepalese household, this is the place 🤗
