It was a great way to experience a little bit of local town life in Portugal. Santa Maria da Feira is a beautiful town. The work at the hostel (wich is amezing and new) is fairly easy and the staff was always nice, specially Carol, who is the coolets human being in this entire town.

¡Hola! Soy Ariel. Emprendí mi viaje a finales del 2011 y lo documento en más de 100 relatos publicados en viajandovivo.net. Soy un emigrante empedernido y desde los 19 años he vivido y trabajado en 5 países y viajado por buena parte de Asia y Europa. De tanto viajar aprendí que viajar no es un colchón de rosas: muchas veces es un cachetazo del universo que te mueve los dientes. Hace poco publiqué mi primer libro: DesOriente, relatos de un viaje al sur de Asia (lo consiguen en https://mitienda.viajandovivo.net). Ademas, he escrito para varias revistas digitales como Otro Mapa e Intriper y soy co-creador de Alto Viaje, el podcast de viajes en español más escuchado de América Latina.
Tengo una licenciatura en comercio internacional pero desde enero de 2015 he estado viajando por el mundo, trabajando en restaurantes, bares y hoteles.

Tengo más de 4 años de experiencia en el sector de hospitalidad. He trabajado como mozo, recepcionista, bartender, ayudante de cocina, bachero (lavaplatos), etc. En todos estos años he trabajado en Malasia, Alemania, Nueva Zelanda, Australia, Japón y Dinamarca, a veces como voluntario (a cambio de alojamiento) y a veces con visas Working Holiday.

I have +4 years of experience in the hospitality industry. I have worked as a waiter, receptionist, bartender, kitchen hand, dishwasher, etc. This entire year, however, I have decided to focus all of my work on improving my bartending skills.
In the past years, I have worked in Australia, Malaysia, Japan, Germany, and Denmark. Sometimes as a volunteer (in exchange for accommodation) and sometimes with a Working Holiday Visa.
