Let's Grow There

Over the past five years I have worn many hats as a creative freelancer and have been able to pursue adventures across the globe. To me, travel is more than checking a box or sitting on the perfect beach all day. Travel is about self-discovery, keeping an open mind, and learning through culture immersion. In 2017 I was chosen by one of my favorite travel bloggers, The Blonde Abroad, to attend her first ever blogging retreat in Bali with a handful of other inspiring bloggers. It was truly a dream that taught me so much more than I could imagine. Fast-forward to 2019 when I was given the role of one of the lead English writer for Worldpackers. My in-depth articles touched on subjects like volunteer work, overcoming post-travel blues, outdoorsy tips, and boldly adventuring. Inner growth is my jam.

Work Experience

Over the past five years I have worn many hats as a creative freelancer and have been able to pursue adventures across the globe.

In 2017 I was chosen by one of my favorite travel bloggers, The Blonde Abroad, to attend her first ever blogging retreat in Bali with a handful of other inspiring bloggers. It was truly a dream that taught me so much more than I could imagine. Fast-forward to 2019 when I was given the role of one of the lead English writers for Worldpackers. My in-depth articles touch on subjects like volunteer work, overcoming post-travel blues, outdoorsy tips, and boldly adventuring.

I am just getting back to writing for Worldpackers post-pandemic and currently freelance for other projects like graphic design, blog writing, and social media marketing.

Travel Experience

To me, travel is more than checking a box or sitting on the perfect beach all day. Travel is about self-discovery, keeping an open mind, and learning through culture immersion. I've hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu (out of shape), bungee jumped in Cusco, and climbed via ferrata to sleep in a cliffside hotel in Peru. It's my favorite trip to date! I've also swam with Turtles in the sunny Virgin Islands, hiked 50 miles on Canada's West Coast Trail, blogged in Bali, and have had adventures all over the US.

I would love to travel more extensively throughout the US as well as volunteer in other countries for opportunities like eco programs, NGO's, and the arts.
