Nice location, easy job and hours. The working days were different than the first agreed when I applied, but it was explained that the profiled has changed so I hope the old one really doesn't exist anymore. Since I've already had some experience working at hostels, I didn't struggled at the job but I do feel that for new and inexperienced travelers it can be a bit too demanding feeling like it's more like a job than a working exchange experience. But I was only there for two weeks, so I didn't mind it that much but I'm not sure if I'd have stayed longer.

It was a pleasure being able to stay in Ghent while learning so much with you! Thanks for everything!
The hostel was definitely an amazing surprise. Bart and Katrijn are hard workers and you can see clearly how much they dedicate and love the place! So much that you just don't mind doing whatever you have to do to help them around. Flexible hours, simple but detailed job... had a great opportunity to learn a lot from them. Plus, Ghent is such a picturesque city! Miss it so much already! Hope our path will cross again someday! It was overall a perfect experience!
