Valeu a experiência! 🌿

Bárbara is a very friendly, calm and responsible girl. We went through several weeks of heavy workload, repairs, and a bit of chaos; she was able to adapt to all these situations and contribute with her work and dedication. We thank her for her delicious caipirinhas and for all her travel experience. We wish her the best for her future projects, and here at the Hostel she will always be welcome. Best regards and a big hug from the whole team.

Barbara is an incredible human being. We clicked the first time we met during a hike in Tayrona National Park, Magdalena, Colombia. I feel that our paths crossed to learn from each other. Thank you for teaching me so much in such a short time. I recommend her to anyone who appreciates good conversations and a connection with nature. I hope our paths cross again, soul sister.

Work experience

I started my professional life in Criciúma-SC in the financial area of a company as an Intern, at the time I was still in college, I was hired and then promoted. A while later I received an offer to change city/agency and I went to Florianópolis. I learned a lot; it was almost 10 years in that area/company, I gained a lot of knowledge, I managed to travel several times, I was very happy. However, at the end of 2019 I decided to change fields, leave the financial/banking area and start in tourism, which I identify with a lot. On 02/01/20 I resigned and since then I have been traveling around Brazil, doing volunteering, working in some places, living one day at a time...

Travel experience

I have always loved traveling; since I was a child my parents took me and my siblings to vacation. Usually to beaches in Santa Catarina state or the interior of Rio Grande do Sul and Paraná. When I started earning my own income, I began traveling farther. I visited Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo capital, SP coast, Fernando de Noronha, MG (BH, Ouro Preto and Capitólio), Bahia, DF and Goiás. My first international trip was to Cuba in 2012, I wanted to know a bit about a country with a regime different from ours. It was amazing! Then I drove along the entire coast of Uruguay and returned through the Serra, I got to know the whole country, so charming and cozy!! I also went to Argentina and visited the capital porteña and its charms. In 2020 I did a backpacking trip through the northeast of Brazil that lasted almost 2 years. After a year of a lot of work, I fulfilled a big dream: to visit the North of Brazil and the Amazon; I was enchanted with the region and Pará became one of my favorite destinations!
