Volunteering at the hotel was a wonderful experience. The team made me feel welcome and part of their culture. Brayan's conversations were insightful and engaging, Marisol was incredibly caring, and Miguel was always cheerful, sharing tips and inviting me to fun parties. The relaxed ambiance made it easy to feel at home, and even the dog added a special touch! The warmth and kindness of everyone made my stay truly special. I'm grateful for this cultural exchange and the amazing memories I take with me.

This was my first Woldpackers experience & because of this HIGHLY recommended this Hotel. Do nor believe the one negative review on here, Miguel is really laid back, friendly & happy to give you recommendations on things to do in Bacalar & the hotel facilities are very nice and clean, the beds are very comfortable. You can use the kitchen to make your own food and the hotel Dog Maya is just a bonus. The hotel is a short walk from a supermarket so you can buy food, as well as being close to the lagoon. The work is realy easy and for the luxury of saying in the hotel I recommend

No pude caer en un mejor lugar que the hotel Miguel el anfitrión, además de ser muy buena onda y conectar, es un gran anfitrión, las tareas a realizar son muy sencillas, él es paciente, las instalaciones son excelentes, mucho mejor de lo que esperaba ,la comida cubre lo necesario para una alimentación balanceada y buena, la ubicación está bien también, hay un Oxxo a la vuelta, los horarios no son nada pesados. En general todo estuvo increíble Lo recomiendo 100%

Mi experiencia en este voluntariado fue buena, tuve mucho aprendizaje personal, estuve cómoda en la habitación que me asignaron, se respetan las horas de trabajo y es fácil. Además de que la estancia en Bacalar es muy linda, el hotel es pequeño pero lindo, está como a 15-20 min caminando de la laguna y pasar tiempo ahí es muy agradable y tranquilo, también es una zona segura. Por haber sido mi primer voluntariado estuvo muy bien! Lo recomiendo mucho si quieres pasar tiempo en un lugar tranquilo y lindo!

Todo excelente en el hotel. El hotel es tranquilo. Miguel explicó bien las tareas y responsabilidades trabajando en la recepción. También Marisol, Glendi, y Bryan ayudan mucho. El hotel está cerca del ADO y base de taxis. No es tan lejos del centro pero si te tardas unos 10-15 minutos caminando hacia allá. Por ser mi primera vez haciendo un voluntariado tuve una buena experiencia, sí lo recomiendo. Gracias a todos en el hotel!

Save yourself from this host. When I arrived, I was told I had to sleep on a couch or share a bed with another volunteer. They said they would buy a bunk bed for us and it never happened. He was smoking weed and got high everyday which made me uncomfortable for management professionalism. He will blame you for small problems and make them a big deal when they could have been avoided with proper communication. He stopped buying breakfast for us for multiple days. This host has a lot of negative things to say when my time here was a great job. This alone says a lot. Too much bad energy here.

Ich hoffe, du kannst deine Probleme in deinem Kopf sortieren; der Freiwilligenraum ist super bequem; das Essen ging aus, weil es drei Wochen halten sollte, und du hast es eineinhalb Wochen vorher völlig aufgegessen, ohne Genehmigung, und leugnest auch, dass du es warst. Du hast nie eigenes Essen gekauft, du hast unser Essen und das deiner Kollegen aufgegessen; du warst derjenige, der eine Marihuana-Zigarette in einer Pflanze innerhalb der Abteilung hinterlassen hat; du bist eine schamlose Person.
