Taghazout is a small southern Moroccan fishing village known for great surf spots and year-round sunshine. Visited by European and North American hippies in the 1960s, including Jimi Hendrix, and by surfers since the 1980s, it maintains a small-town feel with restaurants, seaside cafes, and grocery shops within walking distance. Famous for its waves, the area suits all skill levels, offering over ten fantastic surf spots and many beaches within a 15-minute drive, including Killers, Anchors, Banana Point, Panoramas, and Boilers. Taghazout offers more than just surfing, providing a chance to enjoy the relaxed local culture and beautiful coastal views, promising a wonderful and memorable experience whether you surf, explore cafes, or enjoy the sunshine.
