Our beautiful farmhouse is made up of a main building and three smaller “houses”. As we are situated in the beautiful wine region of Penedès, an area famous for its cava (Spanish champagne), our houses are named after the various native grapes.
I'm the owner of the retreat where retreats are held on a variety of topics like yoga, meditation, detox, tantra, healing, hiking, mindfulnes and coaching. We regularly run different retreats, festivals, workshops and sessions at our centre. You'll have fun while feeling like we're a family

My experience in Cal Pau Cruset was amazing! Ellen is an open and understanding person always willing to help, I want to thank her for listening and accepting the ideas of the Social Media Team. I really liked the passion the people here share for animal care and protection, I fell in love with all the furry family. All the staff is very nice and easy to work with. Excellent place to volunteer and be part of the Penedes experience.

This was an incredible experience, Ellen is a host who makes you feel welcome, the tasks are simple, the contact with nature and the tranquility of the place makes you feel at peace. You can coordinate your days off and visit nearby towns such as Sitges and Vilafranca. It's about an hour from Barcelona, you can take a train and arrive in Vilafranca and from there it's easy to get to the Masia. Thank you Ellen for everything, I will miss every member of the Masia.

Me gustó mucho la experiencia en Alaya desde el primer día me sentí súper cómodo y tuve una buena y linda conexión con todo el equipo el lugar está un poco alejado de todo rodeado de viñedos y mucha naturaleza por lo que si estás buscando paz tranquilidad y estar fuera del caos de la ciudad estés es el lugar idóneo Ellen la anfitriona es una excelente persona y los demás voluntarios igual más las instalaciones y los animales hacen que tu experiencia sea muchísimo mejor me llevo grandes compañeros y una linda experiencia obviamente regresaría sin duda gracias por todo

Este fue mi primer trabajo voluntario, y confieso que aprendí muchas cosas en el poco tiempo que pasé en esta comunidad, pero la mayor parte del tiempo me sentí como un empleado y no como un voluntario. Además, no estaba teniendo la inmersión cultural que estaba buscando, así que me fui antes de lo previsto. Pero agradezco a Ellen por darme esta oportunidad. Es una anfitriona muy educada y amable.

I spent an amazing month in Call Pau Cruset. I've been welcomed so well and meeting the team was so easy, that's a real pleasure when you've been travelling around :) If you love nature, food, animals, to swim, to hike, to laugh, you'll find all that.
Here, I've developped some awesome tactical skills in cleanint the poe of the horses, I've been through the all life process of almonds and I tried to move my body in the yoga hall !
I would like to thanks with all my heart Fav, PLulu and Ellen. I'm so gratefull for the times we spent together.
