Quiet and solitude – Yes. Total Isolation – No.

Most human beings, about 90% of them, need a balance of solitude and people in order to be truly productive. And while you may need complete quiet while working on a particular project or a room with a view for your team pow-wow, you also need to unwind and speak to other people to keep those creative juices flowing.

Certain elements, such as our ‘family style’ lunches and dinners will give you a chance to talk to others who are right there with you, getting away from it all, but working.

We all sit at the same table at Coconat - literally. We eat lunch and dinner together. You always have a chance to get to know fellow Coconauts and to meet our guests as well!

My experience in Coconut was the best I could ever have. I loved and cherished every single moment and I truly already miss everyone. I recommend Coconut to anyone that wishes to experience co-living and working in nature. Big thanks to everyone and I hope to see you again soon! ❤️🫶

Coming back to Coconat after 2 years was a great decision. I felt super welcomed not only by the staff but also other worldpackers and locals. I love how you can just be yourself and contribute to the community regarding your skills. Everyone has space to develop personal projects and that's key to a great exchange. The hours are respected and the meals are always astonishing! The location is great since you're close to the station and can bike there any time or take the bus. Big hug to the staff, the managers and my lovely Buchholz friends! Hope to see you once again :)

It was a great experience to develop my projects and connect with different people. All was according the agreements and all volunteers can speak openly about any issues to find a solution if this is possible.
I hope that the house continues working and receiving volunteers to help.

Honestly I wish I could have stay longer.
Thank you to Julian, Justin, Emy, Lina and everyone else involved!
They take care of us, that we are comfortable, about the hours, they also trained us and give us a list of things to do which makes it easier first days when theres a lot of new info. Super easy tasks.
My favorite was gardening💚

Vegetarian food is super good but might be a bit repetitive and it is a little town without even a shop, but you can cook
It was amazing how the flow of all people around networking get to you, and the interesting conversation and fun makes it a nice balance.

Coconat is a really nice place to relax and enjoy the countryside side. You do still get the chance to meet new people, have fun and eat great good. The work is good and there is time for you to work on any personal project. I really liked the vibe of the place. There are so many fields and trees around which was what I needed. I rode bikes, played wizards and laughed before I went to sleep. Thank you Coconat ❤️
