Gladstone is a small city located on the Southern Great Barrier Reef and Gladstone Backpackers is renowned for its unique, relaxed and homey atmosphere. We want your help to make our guest’s experience here one to remember, so come on an adventure, explore the local spots off the beaten track and have a real Aussie experience.

We are looking for 2 people available in the mornings to help with starting the Hostel’s day, duties might include -setting up breakfast for guests -making coffees for guests -helping with any guest enquiries -checking departing guests out -tidying common areas -helping with laundry -cleaning bathrooms and kitchen -Sweeping and mopping floors -watering lawn and plants In return for your help keeping Gladstone Backpackers looking schmick, making all our guests feel at home, while also keeping them watered and fed, we can offer -a comfy bed -breakfast -½ price drinks -dinner -a chance to join our adventures and become part of the family We ask for at least a two week commitment to working with us, and someone who can start as soon as possible. While your work will not count towards a Visa, .Gladstone is a valid postcode (4680) for the regional work required to extend your Working Holiday Maker (WHM) visa (subclass 417 or subclass 462). If you would like to find work to fulfill your visa requirements all we ask is that you remain available for the mornings.
