Hostel Lollis Homestay
Our Hostel is situated in a very bubbly and young neighborhood, called Dresden Neustadt. We are surrounded by lots of clubs, pubs, restaurants, street art and artsy little shops nearby, so if you like to go out and have some fun - you will enjoy it here! Dresden itself is a city with a great historic center and a generally relaxed life going on. There are many nice options to travel to around Dresden such as Saxon Switzerland, you can rent our free bikes and cycle along the river to beautiful castles and so on.
Lollis Homestay is a Hostel that understands itself as a genuine Backpacker with a long tradition. Run by backpackers we take especially care of social interaction and an open-minded environment. So it is a nice place with great vibes.

Lollis is the best place to stay, you can trust that! Even if it's as a volunteer or as a guest, you will definitely feel at home there! The place itself is very cosy and cool, with a lot of decorations and nice stuff; the rooms are big and with a lot of sunlight, the bathrooms are always clean (just as everything else) and the kitchen is really well-equipped. Everybody was so kind and friendly all the time; Martin, Jules and all the other workers were always very receiving, caring and clear about the tasks we had to do. I had the greatest time ever, just loved it all and recommend it a lot!!!

Lollis was the best experience I could have had! I met incredible people, had unforgettable moments and was made very welcome by the staff. If you're looking to connect with interesting people and have a light-hearted volunteering experience, I'm sure this is the place for you! To the whole team, I will be with you in my heart forever.

Volunteering at Lollis was an incredible experience. I think Lollis is a very special hostel in the way that it feels like a home, thanks to the kind and welcoming staff. The work was very simple and we had a lot of flexibility in creating our own schedules and creating events that we were excited to do. It was also great having 2-3 other volunteers as we really felt like a family. Volunteering was a great way to meet other travellers and get a sense of what it's like to live in Dresden, which is an incredible city!! I truly did not want my experience to end and I can't wait to visit again!

My experience at Lollis was truly amazing. The entire staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel like part of the family from the start. The tasks were simple, and they took the time to explain everything clearly. I appreciated the freedom they gave me to complete the work in the way that suited me best.
I had the pleasure of meeting wonderful people and sharing this experience with all of you. The volunteers made this journey even more special, and I’m deeply grateful for everything. A special thank you to Julianne for making me feel so welcome. I miss everyone already 🫶🏼

My experience in this hostel has been the best I have had by far, I can only say good things.
From the first day I arrived it was incredible, Julianne welcomed me with a big smile and open arms, I took her in my heart.
We are a few volunteers (3/4) and that means we spend a lot of time together, the guys were simply my family <3
The work is super easy and even fun if we help each other.
The receptionists were always friendly and helpful to us.
I sincerely hope to be able to return at some point and I can only thank you enormously for giving me this opportunity.
