Irene's Place

This will be a stay in a lovely medieval Italian hamlet with (I hope) good company and not too much work. There is the possibility for you to work at your own business from home, there's plenty of desks and Wi-Fi connection in the house.

I am a local guide and tour leader. I live alone most of the year but you could meet my daughter or my boyfriend sometimes! You will stay in my own place. Before Covid I used to host voulonteers or couchsurfers, now I look forward to living these experiences again and enjoying some good company at home. Best way to start again is to get help for my new online business.

Irene has been a really good host. She makes you feel like at home. She's very kind, the tasks were clear, and in case of any doubt she's ready to answer and help! I really felt welcomed and considered here. The place is very clean, and the context of the location was stunning. I really recommend Irene!

I don't even have words to describe how impactful this volunteering was on my journey. Irene received me with open arms from day one, almost like a mother.

I was very well received by her and David. She is a very kind, patient and cheerful person who is always concerned about whether you are doing well. She took me to get a Italian experience life! And I still had the opportunity to see incredible places.

The work was extremely flexible with the schedule. As I told her, it was heaven! I loved it so much 💓

I will never forget my days in Corciano and hope to see her again someday.

I'm so happy to share such good things I received, wishing more people could have the same opportunity I had :) It was my first volunteer and since the first contact Irene was amazing! I was received as a daughter, with so much care to make me feel home and I felt! Irene is a special woman, very intelligent, with bright ideas and a big heart! My English improved a lot and I also received a lot of learning about Italian language and culture, visiting special places with her! She tought me a lot about marketing as well! We shared very good moments and I gained a friend for life! I already miss!

Irene was the perfect host and I couldn't have asked for someone more flexible and accommodating. She was always in good spirits and gave lots of freedom to work at your own pace and time. I always felt free to ask a question and received good direction in the work to be done. I would recommend this experience to others.

This was my first volunteer experience on Worldpackers and the experience blew past my expectations. Irene was an amazing host who was welcoming from the day that I got there. She is flexible when it comes to the work schedule and the volunteer/travel balance is great. I was truly immersed in the local culture and got to see all of the close by towns / attractions. Already missing my time in Corciano!
P.S. she’s an amazing cook!!
