Hi, I'm Matias, a local surfer for 15 +++ years and together with my brother Esteban and our sister Francisca we are the owners of the hostel, we invite you to be part of our family business, of our passion, you will feel at home, because once you arrive you are at home away from home and part of the team to , we are proud to be the best hostel in the Valparaiso region - viña del mar town . our hostel is located in the heart of the residential / tourist sector of the city of Viña del Mar.
P.S.: It is important to maintain communication because, that shows us how interested you are, if you do not respond to our messages, we will dismiss the request

My brother and I make up the team, and together with the other volunteers, we feel like a family. All volunteers will be treated with respect and a lot of good vibes! We have discounts at restaurants ( 8 places ) in our area, free entry to clubs ( 4 clubs ) , and discounts on rentals and surf lessons :)

Una muy bonita experiencia para ser mi primer voluntariado, todos los días tienes que hacer la limpieza a las 11am y además el turno de recepción(2 días a la semana sin turno, pero limpieza todos los días) es bastante simple y el Mati y el Este en verdad son súper flexibles y siempre están ahí para cualquier duda, lo cual lo hace bastante simple y ameno. Lo pase muy bien y conocí a mucha gente, así que recomiendo esta experiencia, muchas gracias Mati y Este🫶🏻

I had the best time at Jaguar Hostel! The work is easy (1-2hrs cleaning everyday and some shifts at the reception) and the hostel is really nice and also well located. There’s a lot to do in and around Vina so you won’t get bored. Mati and Este are chill, kind and loving people which was one of the reasons a had a great time as a volunteer there. You also meet a lot of international travellers and its a great place to make new friends. Thank u!!

Me llevo una experiencia hermosa de haber hecho mi primer voluntariado en el Jaguar Hostel. Mati y Esti hacen que se sienta como un ambiente muy familiar, siempre están muy atentos a los huéspedes y a las voluntarias. Te ayudan y orientan en todo lo que necesitas y siempre hay respeto :). Los horarios son muy flexibles y tranquilos, la limpieza se realiza todos los días. Tenes solo descuentos en clases de surf y te prestan las bicis para pasear.
Agradezco que me dieran la oportunidad, conocí a mucha gente y practiqué mucho mi inglés. Gracias por todas las risas y asados!

Thank you for the time I was able to stay with you! Matia and Esti always had great recommendations on what to do with your free time and throughout my stay there were also events at the hostel going on, where travellers and locals came together. You clean everyday of your stay, but the shifts at the reception are super easy and offer times you’re just an extra set of hands. This is really a great place for first time volunteers 🧚🏼

Elegí al Jaguar Hostel como mi primer voluntariado. Como primer viaje sola, y primeras fiestas lejos de mi familia, encontré a través de fotos y publicaciones un ambiente familiar y acogedor. Al llegar allí entendí que no me había equivocado. ❤️
Matías y Esteban están siempre a disposición, tanto de los voluntarios como de los huéspedes. No tienen problema en aclararte las dudas que tengas, cuantas veces surjan. Los horarios son llevaderos y flexibles. Prevalece el respeto y la buena onda, hay asado y mate!
Me llevo esta experiencia en el corazón, nuevos amigos, y buenas memorias…
