Peniche SurfLodge
Nuestro lodge de surf y la rutina diaria de surf son nuestro estilo de vida que amamos profundamente.
Nuestra familia construyó el negocio en 2008 tras muchos años de vacaciones de surf y mucho trabajo.
No queremos voluntarios que vengan solo por unas vacaciones de surf gratis; deben completar las tareas acordadas, trabajar duro a nuestro estándar a cambio de su cama y la oportunidad de surf, y ser parte de nuestro lodge de surf para experimentar al máximo la calidad de la diversión que nuestro lodge familiar de surf y nuestros maravillosos huéspedes que se quedan con nosotros proporcionan.
Hemos tardado años en construir nuestro negocio y no aceptaremos a ninguna persona que venga pensando que no tiene que hacer mucho, porque somos personas realmente geniales y amables; esto solo conducirá a una mala vibra y serán expulsados para evitar cualquier efecto negativo en nuestra vibra familiar de surf.
Nuestros lodges están en Peniche, cerca de la playa, tiendas y restaurantes; funciona porque somos una auténtica familia de surf; hospedamos a huéspedes increíbles y respetables de todo el mundo.
Soy una persona muy atenta que siempre escuchará y será amable y pasará por alto errores simples o si se olvida algo, no espero perfección, pero sí esfuerzo y voluntad; cuando empiezo a ver que no hay esfuerzo ni consideración hacia nuestro acuerdo o nuestro negocio familiar y huéspedes de quienes elegimos sobre muchos otros y que nos dijeron que podrían hacer estas tareas y más, preocupación en sus propias vacaciones libres olvidando que no están pagando para quedarse y ser parte de una maravillosa experiencia de surf, entonces me volveré un poco más estricta! Digamos!!

Nuestro voluntario solo necesita intentar mostrar voluntad y no mentir sobre sus habilidades y experiencias para venir a quedarse, entonces serían tratados como familia.
Por favor, no apliques si nunca has limpiado como trabajo, no es lo mismo que ordenar tu habitación en casa!

I spent an incredible 7 weeks in this surf lodge. The Hall family is very welcoming and funny. I really enjoyed my time with them and the guests and have many wonderful, funny and warm moments to remember. I will miss the afternoons on the beach and am grateful that I was able to improve my surfing skills considerably along the way (you don't have surf lessons, so you should ideally have surfing experience). Be aware that you have to clean. You will also look after the guests to create a family feeling. If you feel part of the lodge, you will have an unforgettable time here.

Después de algunas experiencias realmente difíciles en el pasado, fue un placer tenerte con nosotros; aprendiste rápido y hiciste que septiembre y octubre fueran mucho más fáciles para todos nosotros.
Nos encanta cómo te relacionaste con los huéspedes todos los días y por la noche; esto fue exactamente lo que pedimos, ya que alojamos a las personas más increíbles de todo el mundo, valen la pena y son muy divertidos.
También nos encantó lo dispuesta que estabas a trabajar; quiero dejar claro que este es un puesto de limpieza al inicio.
Los meses de verano mi trabajo es muy intenso; por eso me gustaría brindar a los voluntarios esta oportunidad de venir a ayudar. En la temporada alta es difícil dar más información concreta, ya que simplemente no tengo tiempo.
Creo que la descripción aquí en world packers, mi lista de tareas y el hecho de que te muestren qué hacer es muy útil y siempre estoy ahí para que pregunten ;-)

Had the best time with my first volunteering experience at this lodge, it's a magical place that the family Hall had built up here. I was welcomed after the first seconds of my arrival and felt like a part of the family. The tasks are really easy, they don't feel like work at all and if you don't understand something or feel insecure, you can always ask again, communication was super easy. I made so many friends there from all over the world and definitely improved my surfing. Will miss the afternoons at the beach camp, the surfing and all those funny moments in the lodge with the guests :)

My stay at the Peniche Surf Lodge was fabulous! Claire, Duncan and Dane are a loving family. Peniche is a beautiful town with a lot of things to do and see. One of my favorite activities was to go with the guests and the family to the beach to surf. Improving my surfing skills was definitely a bonus! The daily tasks to complete were very easy and quick to do and Claire was also very helpful in teaching me how to clean better. This experience left me a beautiful memory and above all it taught me a lot. I hope to see the Hall family soon and who knows maybe go back to volunteer there again :)

Claire and Duncan have a great surf lodge in Peniche! You meet lots of fun, like-minded travellers, and they make you feel very welcome. The tasks are set out clearly - as long as you stick exactly to the list and don't miss things you will have a great time! Difficulties can arise if you forget a couple things too many days in a row… but that's to be expected. My advice would be: prioritise doing a good job of the cleaning tasks (don't rush to get it done!) and the fun to be had will take care of itself! An experience I'll always remember :)

Was a nice experience! The Lodge is in a great location close to the beach and supermarkets. The work was easy and let you have time to explore and surf. Claire and his family are really nice and welcoming. Thanks for everything!!
