Rhine Valley Alpacas and Hostel

Getting to know alpacas is one of the greatest experiences in life! Those animals are just fascinating as they make everybody happy and smile. Spending time with them and joining them on their trekking tours is the perfect way to relax and reconnect with nature.

All in all - if you´re an easy-going, caring and welcoming person, who loves to get to know people from all over the world and of course who loves animals you´re perfect for this exchange and more than welcome to stay with us!

We will be happy to show you around the region and make sure you don´t miss out on the most beautiful spots we do have to offer. We are surrounded by magnificent vineyards and wineries along with many old Castles, which are worth a visit and many other attractions. There is plenty of opportunityies for you to site see! We hope that during your stay with us you will enjoy meeting and socializing with local people as well as meeting other volunteers and our guests from all over the world. Andi and I both used to travel for a while, so we know that it is a very special and unforgettable time. We would be grateful to be a part of your great travel experience!

I'm glad that this happened to be my first volunteering experience because Andreas doesn't only want his guests to have the best stay, but also his volunteers. :)

Communication was smooth and the hostel was really nice (but it could get rather cold in the kitchen/lounge area despite August, so take something warm).

I've stayed only two weeks but it's too short - I recommend staying at least a month and also visiting some local festivals.

I've made friends with some international travelers. I recommend checking in the hostel even if you don't plan on volunteering, you won't regret it. 😊

Had a really nice time here, it’s a very small peaceful village with easy access to surrounding towns, the work was super easy to do and Andy and Linda were the best hosts!

This was a wonderful volunteer experience. Andreas and Linda were so kind and welcoming. I was able to explore the Rhine Valley and hang out with alpacas, I couldn’t be happier with my time here.

It was my first volunteering experience and I can only be totally satisfied with it! The activities to be performed are very simple and do not require too much effort, thanks to this you have a lot of free time to visit the beautiful area where the hostel is located.
The possibility of being in contact with nature and the alpacas made my stay even better.
I recommend this experience to everyone!
