Satori Beach Hostel

We are currently seeking volunteers for the following: Reception, Cooks for the cafe, Yoga Teachers, Hosting, Event Planning, and misc. Entertainment. Please let us know what your skills are (if any) and we can discuss your fit within the hostel environment. We do prefer volunteers with longer availability, but are flexible with the timeframe. We offer a bed in our volunteer-only dorm room and provide fresh local food by our chef every day.

We can assist with transportation from the Colombo airport which is only 2.5 hours away.

Hello! Thank you for your interest in Satori Beach Hostel. We are an American/Sri Lanken owned hostel located on a gorgeous private beach in Mirissa, Sri Lanka, but centrally located within walking distance to the center of this vibrant town. We are a brand new hostel, but already have a stellar reputation of being the most lively community with good vibes, daily yoga, delicious local food, access to nightlife parties, and the best views of a calm private beach with the bluest waters.

Hey, It was a really nice month there, With amazing views when you wake up, you don't need an alarm, because the sun wake you up with a beautiful sunrise. The staff there were really friendly and treated me like a family, they were flexible with the hours and they let me do the activities that i wanted with the guests. Loved to help growing the hostel, the vibes are really chill and you can relax a lot. The campfires, playing some volleyball, swimming... A lot of things to do, also if you want party you can go to other places and when you come back you can sleep properly! Thanks Dasun and staf

El trabajo está bien. Las intalaciones estan viejas y descuidadas. No cumple con el anuncio en worldpackers ya que no hay tablas de surf ni clases de yoga y surf. Los trabajadores muy bien y amables.

I made very good friends during my stay and the view of the sea is incredible, but I honestly do not recommend it for volunteering, there is really no organization, there are no tasks and everything that is promised in worldpackers they do not fulfill, the property is not as in the photos , and the treatment of the volunteers is not the best.
