We are a quite happy and comfortable hostel...very central located 5 in walk to the main square in a quiet neighbour hood.You will be able to meet other travelers, hang out, have a good time, and exchange travel stories and tips,this is done best in a comfy and cozy environment that invites travelers to hang out
staff is friendly and happy people..we try to make volunteers feel at home and give them as much as free time to see the country,explore,and get a feel of the culture... and of course enjoy their stay at our hostel

The host of the hostel; Frank is a well knowledgeable, humorous guy who always made sure the volunteers were having fun during their volunteering period. He’s very hands-on with the work, occasionally even letting us rest as he took care of OUR designated responsibilities, and always took our personal needs and issues into consideration.

I spent one month at the golden rooster hostel and it was a great experience which I'm really thankful for :). Franc is a great host! He is really welcoming and understanding. During my stay I needed to clean the facilities like kitchen, bathroom etc and work at the reception. The work was easy and I still had enough time to explore Albania! All the other volunteers were super nice. We were a really nice group, went out together and helpt eachother with the tasks. Can totally recommend!! ;))

Desde que llegué el primer día Franc me recibió muy bien, comprensivo y buena onda. Disfrute mi tiempo en el hostel, un lugar tranquilo, limpio y muy lindo. Las tareas fáciles de hacer. Los 3 días libres es una buena oportunidad para conocer lugarcitos de Albania. Recomiendo este voluntariado 100%

10/10 my experience in the hostel was wonderful!! franc it's an amazing host, I really loved my stay in the hostel like others already said it's a little castle in Tirana! the task are very easy and the hours of work are wonderful you can easy negotiate any change in the schedule, the hostel it's very easy to clean wen everybody helps and you can easy travel around Albania in your days off!! 100% RECOMMEND IT!!!! also if you need a dental treatment Tirana it's the perfect place
