Marie and Jamie were amazing hosts! While I didn’t stay with them and their family, I did stay in the house I was working at in another English Village nearby. Marie and Jamie visited often to check in on how I was doing, help with any questions I had on my projects, and do some of their own work on the house/garden. I really did learn a lot while in Woodbury and now have much more of an appreciation for brickwork when I see it in my every day life. My main tasks focused on cleaning bricks of cement/old mortar and building new brick walls (Jamie taught me how to do it all!).

Jamie and Marie were lovely hosts. My partner and I were given varied work and we enjoyed spending time with their family. Every day was a bit different which we appreciated and the town of Churchinford is very nice (though small!) We would recommend this stay to all WorldPackers.
