Villa Paignon
We are John and Derek from the Netherlands who have recently moved to Montbron in the Charente in the beautiful Northern Dordogne Valley in France.
We are looking for enthusiastic travelers/volunteers to help us restore a beautiful old Victorian Maison (mini chateau) Villa Paignon! The house has a rich history and is unique in the department. The house is set in 4 hectares of garden and woodland on the River Tardoire. Behind the house are the famous caves of Montgaudier. We ask energetic Hands-on help, handyman. You do not need to have special skills because the work varies from sanding, painting, demolition to cleaning. We are also looking for help in our forest and garden - mowing the lawn, clearing dead trees, collecting firewood and actually sowing plants etc. if you like to help us for a few hours a day, make the house and garden beautiful again . There is enough time left for walking, cycling or, for example, canoeing or visiting the cave. Are you someone who is handy or likes to be busy in the house, garden or in the forest? We hope you'll want to be part of our small, board and board team and get involved in this great job project.
We treated volunteers as friends with respect, there is no staff for cooking, While cooking is not our best thing we allway's create a healthy meal
