We are looking for dynamic, happy, open-minded, motivated, and flexible volunteers with experience in customer service, reception, and administration. Computer skills, service orientation, travel experience and at least intermediate levels of English and Spanish are mandatory. Other languages, social media and photography skills are a big plus.

Que ofreces?

25 horas de ayuda por semana

Administración: Ayuda con el sistema de reservas y los pagos.

Programa detallado

We are a peaceful, quiet, vegetarian, ecological hotel and invite people who are like-minded. We are not a party place, and we don't allow any drugs or meat on our property.
We want responsible volunteers who stick to their word. So please only apply if you are seriously interested in volunteering with us and are not just looking for a free place to stay.

Actividades & Turnos

• Responding to reservations and other requests via email, booking sites, WhatsApp, fb, IG and phone.
• Welcoming and interacting with guests, making them feel good, asking them about their stay, finding solutions to queries, etc.
• Taking orders from customers in the restaurant, serving meals and collecting empty dishes
• Helping in the kitchen: cooking, washing dishes, cleaning.
• Social Media: updating facebook, instagram, website, taking pictures.
• Helping with administrative tasks.
You can choose to:
• work 5 days a week, 5 hours a day and get breakfast on working days.
• work 5 days a week, 6.5 hours a day and get 2 meals (breakfast and lunch) on working days.
Schedules are defined on a weekly basis, and we ask for your flexibility in case of unexpected events. Saturday and Sunday are always working days.

Reglas

You are not allowed to take any drugs, smoke or be under the influence of any prohibited substances while you are on the property. We are very strict on that. Police comes regularly to check the place for drugs, and you’ll face a long time in prison if you are found with drugs. None of the employees at MayAchik smokes and we expect that as well from our volunteers. This might be the perfect place for you to stop smoking being surrounded by beautiful nature, fresh air, and healthy food.
