Come and join our team! In our guesthouse, we need helpers to do the cleaning tasks 5 days/week or receptionists 2 days/week depending on whether they can speak Japanese or not. If you want to help in another field, such as creating videos or advertisements on social media, it is adjustable for the work shift. Accommodation is with our guests, thus it is easy to make new friends from all over the world. A shared kitchen and free rice are provided

Volunteering at the guest house was amazing! I worked with lovely people and they were so nice to me. I can only speak English and they can speak Japanese and a little bit English. This was no problem at all. Hiroshima is a small city but really nice. The work is 3-4 hours of cleaning. In the beginning i had to get used to it but in no time its easy. Special thank to Ryoko she is so sweet and always tries to help you. Also her cooking is amazing!

Working at Aki was a great way to improve my Japanese and meet many new and interesting people during my summer holiday. The cleaning might be a little exhausting for some, but working at the reception is pretty enjoyable as you get to talk to many different people. The facilities are clean and pleasant, the host and other staff make you feel welcome and I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in a local environment.

Working at the guest house was truly an unforgettable experience. The work was hard at times but very fair. Doing general cleaning for about 3-4 hours a day can get a little tiring after a few days. Just like any other job, the people you meet during your time there is what makes it all worth it. If you have the chance to work here and with Ryoko; tell her she's a sweet angel! Thanks to the guest house for giving me a place to stay and thanks to everyone there who made it such a warm experience.

I had a great experience there! Hiroshima -thought is not a big city with many things to see- is a nice place with a nice vibe. The work at the hostel is easy . The staff is more than kind and the facilities are great. Special thanks to Rika and Kipe. ❤️

My experience at the guest house ended up very well. The staff was welcoming and they showed patiently how to do the daily tasks. In general, the work is light and the schedule is respected. Besides that, it was fun to spend some time with the staff in our free time. I would highly recommend this place for volunteering.
