Si buscas un lugar con montones de fiestas pero también con algunas responsabilidades, el hostal es el lugar. Te sentirás como en familia, y la diversión nunca para. Es verdad que puede ser agotador (porque realmente es el hostal de lunes a lunes), pero la experiencia vale totalmente la pena.

Me divertí mucho en el hostal. Hice tareas de lavandería, recorridos por el hostal y dirigí actividades y rutas de pubs. También trabajé detrás del bar del hostal, lo cual disfruté mucho. Si quieres dirigir ciertas actividades, o tomar turnos diferentes, los gerentes son muy flexibles. Las reuniones quincenales a las 9 a.m. son un poco chocantes 🫠, pero el personal y otros voluntarios son muy divertidos y hacen que toda la experiencia. El patio hace que el hostal sea muy sociable y permite que huéspedes y voluntarios se conozcan entre sí. Extrañaré estar aquí y lo recomiendo a cualquiera que quiera salir de fiesta mucho.

¡Me lo pasé muy bien en el albergue! Pude ayudar en rondas de pubs, actividades diurnas y ayudar a guiar las hermosas caminatas por las montañas de Albania. El personal y los huéspedes están muy unidos y siempre hay mucho por hacer. ¡Lo recomendaría encarecidamente a cualquiera que quiera conocer Shkoder!

¡Pasé un tiempo maravilloso haciendo voluntariado aquí! Las personas son increíbles y el lugar es bastante genial. Un gran lugar para relajarte y disfrutar conociendo muchos viajes internacionales. ¡Una gran mezcla de fiestas y exploración de la zona circundante! Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar a cualquiera que quiera pasar un gran rato.

This was my first volunteering experience and has genuinely been one of the best months of my life. I had the most amazing time with the best people, I have genuinely made friends for life. The work was very reasonable and because the vibe was so great it was usually genuinely fun. I liked that there was some flexibility with shifts to be able to do the things I was better at. There was great support within the team and opportunities to try new things. The staff accommodation and food was great. But the best thing was really the atmosphere. I love you guys, wish I could've extended :(

I honestly had the best time at the hostel! It was a very social hostel, and I loved meeting people from all over the world. the hostel really created such a loving community that I enjoyed. The work was very fun to do and manageable! Mike was open to exchanging feedback which I really appreciated - I'd highly recommend this experience :)

I'm writing this review as I'm packing my bags to go hiking - and even tho I'll be back in a few days to say a proper goodbye, I already dread leaving. Over the last month, this hostel has become and been my home. the hostel is Strawpedos, Beer Bongs and Raki Shots, it's getting drunk with strangers turned to friends during the various day activities, but most of all it's family. There's always someone around to help you, be it employed staff or the other volunteers: the team spirit is really THE BEST! Would 100% recommend if you're up to the hostel day and night with the coolest people alive!

My time in the hostel was truly amazing! The manager and the staff were extremely welcoming, they immediately made me feel like part of the team. The work is really easy flexible and well communicated, you can also use the bikes for free which gives you the opportunity to explore shkoder and its surroundings. Albania is truly a magical country, with its unique nature and hikes. Parties are really fun, even tho it was still low season, and you'll never lack raki. I'm really grateful to had the opportunity to be the part of this experience and team, I've met amazing people and I'll be back!<3
