The Experience

Welcome aboard, a hostel named for the ancient Illyrian ships which ruled the Mediterranean. It's a new hostel that combines top-tier amenities with daily adventures in and around the city of Shkoder Albania. We are brand new and building the dream so we need skilled deckhands to help us build the bar. Using mostly reclaimed wood, you will help us design and build the final (and debatably the most important) piece of our ship.

If you like to party, socialize, meet people from all over and celebrate every night, the hostel is for you. A really fun experience in a beautiful city, with mountains and lakes that you absolutely have to visit. I really enjoyed working at the bar and I met people who are part of my life today. Thank you Albano and Eltion for everything. And to the staff for all the good vibes, especially Ross and Georgia :) and the best manager Kieran. We will see each other again!

Volunteering at the hostel is a fantastic opportunity to connect with worldwide travelers and contribute to a fun, new hostel in Shkoder. The owner Albano and manager Kieran make it a fun atmosphere and you can tell they truly care about you and your time with them. Get ready to help with reception, laundry, cleaning, some events, and to party!

Grateful for this experience. Albano has a huge heart and makes you feel part of the team. The team is extraordinary like Asja, Adori and Tonchito who have a place in my heart. This experience helped me to practice skills that I wanted to further enhance, such as photography and video filming. Albano trusted me to do "my magic" I completely changed the photos on the booking platforms and I changed the social media channels to a more professional view, increasing followers. Communication with Albano is very good, he is a great leader that encourages you to give your best. Come aboard the hostel
