Rodolfo y Paula fueron unos anfitriones increíbles. Me recibieron y trataron como una más de la familia la casa. Siempre con actitud positiva. Pude conectar y exprimir esta experiencia al 100%, conocer a gente local como turistas. Aprender en las tareas que se me otorgaron y sobretodo, a desarrollarme en un ambiente cómodo y agradable.

Tuve días relajados en la casa de huéspedes. Era temporada baja, así que el trabajo fue bastante tranquilo. Básicamente ayudar en el desayuno. Todos los que trabajan allí fueron muy amables conmigo. Como no había otros voluntarios, tuve la habitación para mí solo y también tuve clases de surf con Ashan, ¡eso fue sin duda lo más destacado! Me alegra haber tenido la oportunidad de quedarme en Ohana. Muchas gracias 🙏🏼

Esta fue mi primera experiencia de Worldpackers! Mi objetivo antes de llegar a la casa de huéspedes era aprender a surfear y conocer locales y otros viajeros, y tuve la suerte de que esos objetivos se cumplieran aquí. El personal de la casa de huéspedes es increíblemente trabajador y les tengo mucho respeto. La casa de huéspedes se encuentra en una ubicación increíble en Sri Lanka, estando tan cerca de la playa y de restaurantes deliciosos. La única desventaja es que está justo al lado de una carretera principal, por lo que puede ser ruidoso por el tráfico. En general, si buscas surfear o aprender y conocer a gente increíble, este es el lugar :)

Tuve un gran tiempo haciendo voluntariado en la casa de huéspedes, realmente disfruté de mi estancia y me sentí cómodo desde el principio. El trabajo fue tal como acordamos y tuvimos mucho tiempo libre para explorar la ciudad y sus alrededores. Trabajar con los locales fue muy divertido y una gran experiencia. La atmósfera era muy cálida y familiar, y el alojamiento era cómodo y acogedor. Pudimos usar las tablas de surf e incluso unirnos a las clases de surf si queríamos, lo cual fue un gran momento destacado. Conocí a personas increíbles y hice grandes amistades. En general, recomiendo mucho este voluntariado!

¡Me lo he pasado increíble en la casa de huéspedes! Paula y Rudolfo son los anfitriones más amables y realmente te hacen sentir parte de una gran familia. Mis tareas diarias consistían en preparar el desayuno para los huéspedes y ayudar un poco con la limpieza. También pude usar sus tablas de surf cuando quise, y me motivaron a progresar muchísimo en mi surf. Todo el equipo de la casa de huéspedes es increíble. He pasado innumerables horas riéndome con Ashan, Kauchi y Chamil — voy a extrañar mucho estar cerca de ellos todos los días 🥲 Gracias por hacer que este lugar sienta como en casa ❤️

If I could, I'd give the guest house 10 stars! From day one, I felt at home. Paula and Rudolfo aren't just great hosts – they make you feel like family (just with more surfboards in the backyard). My time here was a mix of work, laughter, surfing, and unforgettable people. the guest house is where you build connections that last longer than my sunburn. If you're looking for the perfect balance of work, surf, and chill with amazing people – this is it. Thank you for everything.

Our volunteer experience at the guest house was unique. the guest house-Team is working very hard Still they were caring and very supportive trough our whole stay at the Guest-House, especially Paula. The work we did was mostly helping as kitchen hands at the breakfast, and checking the clients rooms. Most of the time we started at 7:30 am and finished the work around 2:30/3pm. We appreciated participating in some surflessons. The room we stayed in was very comfortable - it was very cozy and with a private bathroom. To use the kitchen was great and the atmosphere at the guest house was very authentic. Thank you

The guest house was my first experience volunteering and the only downside of that is, that I don't think any other experience will ever come close to how amazing my time here was! The room we stayed at was beautiful, the people were so welcoming and kind and even tho I only stayed for a weeks (wish I would've stayed longer) the guest house truly feels like family. The work was definitely doable for what you get in return. I'm gonna miss it so much and can recommend this experience to everyone!

The guest house is a very special place. Immediately after arriving, I felt so welcomed into a family. It really did feel like a home away from home! I was able to learn how to surf, meet locals, practice Spanish, and more! I volunteered for 2 weeks, and I wish I could've stayed longer! The work is simple, and the accommodation is just beautiful! The owners are so kind, and they make dinner each night for the volunteers! I would highly recommended this Worldpackers because it was so great, and Sri Lanka is just incredible!! Thank you, the guest house <3
