The guest house was my first experience volunteering and the only downside of that is, that I don't think any other experience will ever come close to how amazing my time here was! The room we stayed at was beautiful, the people were so welcoming and kind and even tho I only stayed for a weeks (wish I would've stayed longer) the guest house truly feels like family. The work was definitely doable for what you get in return. I'm gonna miss it so much and can recommend this experience to everyone!

The guest house is a very special place. Immediately after arriving, I felt so welcomed into a family. It really did feel like a home away from home! I was able to learn how to surf, meet locals, practice Spanish, and more! I volunteered for 2 weeks, and I wish I could've stayed longer! The work is simple, and the accommodation is just beautiful! The owners are so kind, and they make dinner each night for the volunteers! I would highly recommended this Worldpackers because it was so great, and Sri Lanka is just incredible!! Thank you, the guest house <3

Volunteering at the guest house was absolutely amazing! Paula, Rodolfo, the whole team and the other volunteers made me feel so welcome and after volunteering there for one month it feels like a home away from home for me. The work was easy and I could learn a lot of new things. Shifts are in the morning (mainly 7:30am - max. 1:30pm) which gives you plenty of time to explore the area after work. I met so many wonderful people and could really enjoy my time there, also because the room in which I was staying was very comfortable (A/C, clean, etc). I'm very grateful for my time and can recommend it 100%!

The place is truly beautiful and the work for me was very nicely explained and agreed on my first day and was very easy to catch up on. Unfortunately, few days after I arrived Paula and her family went for holidays. I just wish things could be communicated better before, not one day before them leaving. But in the end, everything ended well and we had great time with other 2 volunteers.

We had an amazing time! Paula and Rodolfo took us in like we were family. They are super nice and friendly people. They also taught us to surf, which was a lot of fun! The work wasn't too hard and too much either, so we had a lot of free time. Thank you for having us! ❤️
