J'ai passé des jours détendus dans la maison d'hôtes. C'était la basse saison, donc le travail était assez tranquille. Fondamentalement aider au petit-déjeuner. Tous ceux qui y travaillent ont été très gentils avec moi. Comme il n'y avait pas d'autres bénévoles, j'avais la chambre pour moi seul. Et j'ai aussi eu des cours de surf avec Ashan, c'était sans aucun doute le point fort ! Je suis content d'avoir eu la chance de séjourner à Ohana. Merci beaucoup 🙏🏼

Ceci a été ma première expérience Worldpackers ! Mon objectif avant d'arriver à la maison d'hôtes était d'apprendre à surfer et de rencontrer des locaux et d'autres voyageurs, et j'ai eu la chance que ces objectifs se réalisent ici. Tout le personnel de la maison d'hôtes est incroyablement travailleur et j'ai énormément de respect pour eux. La maison d'hôtes se situe dans un endroit incroyable au Sri Lanka, étant si proche de la plage et de restaurants délicieux. Le seul inconvénient est qu'elle se trouve juste à côté d'une route principale, ce qui peut être bruyant à cause du trafic. Dans l'ensemble, si tu cherches à surfer ou à apprendre et à rencontrer des gens incroyables, c'est l'endroit :)

J\'ai passé un excellent moment à faire du bénévolat dans la maison d\'hôtes Ohana, j\'ai vraiment apprécié mon séjour et je me suis senti à l\'aise dès le début. Le travail était tel que convenu et nous avions beaucoup de temps libre pour explorer la ville et ses environs. Travailler avec les habitants a été très amusant et une excellente expérience. L\'atmosphère était très chaleureuse et familiale, et l\'hébergement était douillet et confortable. Nous avons pu utiliser les planches de surf et même participer aux cours de surf si nous voulions, ce qui a été un grand moment fort. J\'ai rencontré des gens incroyables et me suis fait de super nouveaux amis. Dans l\'ensemble, je recommande fortement ce bénévolat!

J’ai passé le temps de ma vie dans la guest house ! Paula et Rudolfo sont les hôtes les plus gentils et vous font vraiment sentir partie d’une grande famille. Mes tâches quotidiennes consistaient à préparer le petit-déjeuner pour les invités et à aider un peu au ménage. J’ai aussi pu utiliser leurs planches de surf quand je le voulais, et ils m’ont motivé à progresser énormément dans mon surf. Toute l’équipe de la guest house est incroyable. J’ai passé d’innombrables heures à rire avec Ashan, Kauchi et Chamil — je vais vraiment leur manquer tous les jours 🥲 Merci d’avoir fait de cet endroit un chez-soi ❤️

If I could, I'd give the guest house 10 stars! From day one, I felt at home. Paula and Rudolfo aren't just great hosts – they make you feel like family (just with more surfboards in the backyard). My time here was a mix of work, laughter, surfing, and unforgettable people. the guest house is where you build connections that last longer than my sunburn. If you're looking for the perfect balance of work, surf, and chill with amazing people – this is it. Thank you for everything.

Our volunteer experience at the guest house was unique. the guest house-Team is working very hard Still they were caring and very supportive trough our whole stay at the Guest-House, especially Paula. The work we did was mostly helping as kitchen hands at the breakfast, and checking the clients rooms. Most of the time we started at 7:30 am and finished the work around 2:30/3pm. We appreciated participating in some surflessons. The room we stayed in was very comfortable - it was very cozy and with a private bathroom. To use the kitchen was great and the atmosphere at the guest house was very authentic. Thank you

The guest house was my first experience volunteering and the only downside of that is, that I don't think any other experience will ever come close to how amazing my time here was! The room we stayed at was beautiful, the people were so welcoming and kind and even tho I only stayed for a weeks (wish I would've stayed longer) the guest house truly feels like family. The work was definitely doable for what you get in return. I'm gonna miss it so much and can recommend this experience to everyone!

The guest house is a very special place. Immediately after arriving, I felt so welcomed into a family. It really did feel like a home away from home! I was able to learn how to surf, meet locals, practice Spanish, and more! I volunteered for 2 weeks, and I wish I could've stayed longer! The work is simple, and the accommodation is just beautiful! The owners are so kind, and they make dinner each night for the volunteers! I would highly recommended this Worldpackers because it was so great, and Sri Lanka is just incredible!! Thank you, the guest house <3

Volunteering at the guest house was absolutely amazing! Paula, Rodolfo, the whole team and the other volunteers made me feel so welcome and after volunteering there for one month it feels like a home away from home for me. The work was easy and I could learn a lot of new things. Shifts are in the morning (mainly 7:30am - max. 1:30pm) which gives you plenty of time to explore the area after work. I met so many wonderful people and could really enjoy my time there, also because the room in which I was staying was very comfortable (A/C, clean, etc). I'm very grateful for my time and can recommend it 100%!
