Marvin took care of our kitchen, cooked delicious meals, and we had many very interesting exchanges; we wish him a journey filled with love and good things.

Aproveitei muito minha experiência e me diverti bastante.

Marvin was here for a short time, but during those days he was remarkable! He is an energetic young man, with a very positive vibe, a great will to help and share good moments and very friendly. He helped us with cleaning and was extremely dedicated and pro active. We recommend him and he is welcome back at house to spend more time with us. Obrigado Marvin!!!!

Background

Education

I am a hotelier by training from UFRRJ, graduated in 2023.

All areas of the hospitality industry are very appealing to me, since I am interested and always do my best whenever possible! But Gastronomy/Food and Beverage was my area of specialization, and it is what fills my heart <3

Work experience

I primarily worked in hospitality, in different services: hostels, hotels, cruise ships, and inns.

Between 2022 and 2024 I worked remotely for a technology company, and now I am taking a sabbatical period to seek self-knowledge and new skills.

Travel experience

When I was 16, I fell in love with the world of travel after making my first solo trip to São Paulo. I decided that I wanted to backpack across Brazil after school, but at 17 I entered college and had other projects, but that dream always stayed latent in me.

In 2021 and 2022 I spent seven months traveling around Brazil and then returned to finish college. In 2024, I left a steady job to venture out again in search of myself :)
