Dear Nicole, thank you for your support at the hotel and for your recommendations! We will take them into account in detail. It is very important to remind the Worldpackers community that the schedules are agreed upon by both parties once the volunteer arrives at our hotel; that is, they are defined together and we always have the flexibility to modify them so that both the volunteer and we are satisfied. This is in accordance with the intensity outlined by the offer and the conditions defined previously in the volunteer offer.

It is important to note that at Palomino Sunrise, being a volunteer is not being an employee, but neither is it being on vacation during shifts. For this reason it is very important to clarify that the working hours on other days of the week are 2 or 3 hours. Indeed, we have a shift during the week, which is agreed upon together, but it is not mandatory; in fact, this shift can be modified but the remaining hours must be distributed during the rest of the week. This shift was created based on the recommendations of many volunteers who preferred to have a heavier workload on one day of the week in exchange for having more hours free during the rest of the days to enjoy Palomino.

We know that there are volunteers who, when they come, also work remotely on other projects and this kind of shifts can affect their plans, but it is important to keep in mind that during the agreed shifts the commitment to the hotel must be 100%, without this meaning being an employee.

Likewise your work was very valuable and professional; we wish you all the best in your upcoming volunteering and hope to continue having volunteers as valuable as you.

Best regards,
Attn, International Exchanges Coordination

Me voy feliz .
