It was a peaceful volunteering experience and the scheduled hours were followed. The shifts are mostly at night and early morning, and we have a weekly allowance to buy and prepare breakfast. I was able to take a salsa class, and it was really nice to get to know Cali's culture.

I liked my experience at the hostel; it was short, but the location is a plus for doing activities and getting to know Cali. Johan was attentive to my questions and the scheduling is fairly independent among the volunteers. My experience with the guests was very good, I made nice connections and I hope to meet them in the future. Thank you all!

Based on my experience and that of other volunteers who were present during the period I volunteered, volunteering is terrible; I'm not here to ruin anyone's reputation, nor is it my intention to harm other people. There is a lack of leadership from the hosts; everyone expects you to know what needs to be done and that it is communicated in advance. It is also very tedious to constantly switch housing. It can't be denied that it is well located, and if you are lucky you will have good fellow volunteers; there is a lot to improve and to understand that this is volunteering.

The location is excellent for exploring the city, the facilities are always spotless, and the schedules are kept. They are night shifts that give you time flexibility.

The hostel is a good place to get to know San Antonio, and it is very well located to reach anywhere in the city. The tasks aren't complicated and they are understanding of whatever you need at all times, although a bit more organization and planning with the shifts would be appreciated, such as them being fixed, that they wouldn't be scheduled so late at night, and above all not being contacted on the same day, that the shifts be established from the start of volunteering. Otherwise, overall it's fine, they were kind to me.
